Help! I've been robbed!

So I haven't played PWI in over 2 years because when my old laptop broke, I bought a Mac Book Pro, and as you know, PWI games are not supported by apple. Anyway, I got a PC just so I can begin playing PWI games again, but when I returned, I was factionless, armourless, friendless and my 2 rare wing sets Dark Lord and Brilliant Plumes were missing...

I know some of you might ask why I didn't put security on, but let me stop you there. I DID! But when I returned I was infamous in PK in the middle of nowhere...

Why didn't the GM's thin k to password lock PK?!

Anyway, that suggests that someone had me killed in infamy over and over again until I dr5opped all of my stuff!

What should I do?! Can anyone help me?

Sorry for the double post! The first one posted automatically after I hit 'Enter'. I didn't even get to finish the thread title.

    1. submit a ticket.

    2. start asking around to any friends or family that may have known or been able to figure out your login information.

personally, it all sounds illogical to me. If I had access to another person's account and wanted to take their stuff -- it makes more sense and is far easier to just pass the stuff out. PK farming a toon you have access to just doesn't make sense. It would take too long.

She have safe password that prevent you unequipped your armour, sell items to npc and open your bank unless you give the proper key phrase. But safe password don't prevent drop for pk, so the stealer just make her char red and then start killing he until he dropped all armour and fly.

On topic only solution is submit a ticket and hope that gm take care of the situation.

PD. sorry for my bad English.

But safe password don't prevent drop for pk,
Yes it does. Safety lock will bind items to you account. I can swap stuff between my toons through account stash - but i cant drop stuff on the ground even if someone kills me - that's why people use it.
so the stealer just make her char red and then start killing he until he dropped all armour and fly.
again, illogical and massively time consuming. either way you do it, you have to wait on the safety lock to wear off. at which point its easier to just pass the stuff out rather than "whack" revive "whack" revive until everything drops or breaks.

PK'ing with lock active you only get PK gear shatter, in which case you pay the Elder to have it repaired.

I'm pretty sure he's referring to the banker password feature and not safety lock.

... But the OP isn't talking about a Safety Lock. The OP is talking about a password for your bank. That'll also lock your gear, which results in not being able to unequip any of your stuff unless you enter the password.

From the sounds of it, someone got on the OP's account, ran into the password and decided to simply PK the OP until all gear was dropped as PK drops.

They said they lost their computer and replaced it with a mac... SO, if someone did not know their password (banker password) yes, they could not "rob" them that way, but even if they had safety lock (if it was someone that knew the OP) they knew they would have had the time to sit around and wait for SL to end since the OP no longer had a way to log in... At that point it would have been simple to log in, wait for x time to pass (for SL), then turn the character red, then start killing it till it dropped the things they wanted...

    1. submit a ticket.

Quote offers the best advice. Fuzzy would suggest starting here
