Hi all,

I was just wondering something about the 3rd vana recast:

Does the wep is still bound if we use a TT vana wep to do the 3rd recast?
The few screenshots I saw about it showed that it wasn't but it doesn't tell if it was a lunar vana or tt vana before ...

Thanks for your help ^^

If it's made from lunar nirvana it will be un-bound. If it's made from HH nirvana, it will be bound.

Yup, it applies to any cast. If the words "Bound" are on the item, then it will stay bound when you t3 them. If they say "Item will bind if equipped" when you cast, it will stay like that.

If it's Lunar and unbound, then it will stay tradable after you T3 them.

Yes, if g15 was bound, g16 stays bound. If G15 was unbound, g16 is unbound.

Also if G15 had 2 sockets, we noticed that you get g16 2 sockets too. Each reroll has 2 sockets too.

Not true. Friend got lucky and rolled a 2 socket G15 bow, and it turned 1 socket when he T3'd it.

Noted. So far is you got lucky with 2 sockets @1st try G16, each reroll you will keep the number of sockets. We had rerolled sling like 20 times, 2 sockets each time.

I know someone whose 1st g16 recast was 2 socket, every reroll thereafter was 1 socket.
This stands out in my memory because I couldn't believe they didn't use Chienkungs for rerolls and lost the 2nd socket.

b:surrender If SoulCrusher is right it is not a bad idea to chienkun sockets.
If Cotillion is right its a bad idea to chienkun sockets b:puzzled

If every reroll is keeping same sockets i would chienkun my 2 socket weap *confused*

You gamble your sockets each reroll. Thats why there is a cost. So theoretically if you planned on doing multiple rerolls for a stat you want (x2 interval for example) its best not to chienkun at first but if you get a 2nd socket after then chienkun the 2 socket as it is A LOT cheaper on the cost for rerolling. That is of course my theory on it.
