A small step in the right direction?

i don't know about everything else but i think it seems like this new NPC has made the game take a small step to getting a bit better, albiet without the horns, its given small incentive to do quests.

Now if just PWE could just give more EXP from quests, it all be good. b:victoryb:laugh

    Indeed. I knocked out two quests on my bm just to see i could get the next stage of reward. The answer was yes. b:chuckle

    It would have been much better if the quests did not include things like BH, Nirvana, RB etc. but stuck to normal quests. All of the people I know that have never done a quest aside from culti (some powerlevelled) still got all six rewards. So it isn't really much incentive to quest at all, imo.

    I tested the NPC. I believe they need more tiers. I think it's the right step, but with only 250 or so quest-limitation on the NPC, it kinda fails. As someone who completed all 1000+ quests on two toons, I was assuming I would get something decent. A horn was the best thing I got, as everything else was timed. So I NPCed everything and used up the horn. The EXP was nice, but I'm already 101/103, so it made no difference to me.

    I think so too but this NPC has been in the coordinate assistant for a while now. They just never spawned it before now. I really hope we can make this thing an event they do every so often. As long as they remove the horns of course. They should also add some more tiers as you said.

    Yeah Kitiara I totally agree and was thinking the same myself. And OmegaToth your comments were dog.sh.it - maybe changing nothing at all suits you better does it.

    Things I would like to see frankieraye if your reading: Add 10x to all quest rewards above a certain level, say 70. Add an easier way to get secret letters so wraith attacks become more common. Maybe an archasaur attack every week instead of rarely.

    Most important a total revamp of tw.

    I would love to see weekly archo attacks, not only for the nice chunk of money you can earn by turning in DQ's but it'd give high(er) levels something else to do than just dailys. maybe something to look forward to every friday? b:cute

    Quite a while? More like available since the launch of descent. He was activated at PWCN's descent launch.

    A small step, but definitely in the right direction.

    However, at the risk of sounding greedy or ungrateful, I did notice that nearly everything except those martial arts things were untradeable or set to expire. While I'm quite happy with free stuff, the truth is that the game is gear based and gear requires money. If I spent my time grinding out 200 quests for untradeable rewards, I'd end up with a lot less money than if I spent the time farming. So personally I still have zero incentive to go questing. Again, not being ungrateful, I'm happy with the new NPC, just being honest that I wouldn't quest because of it.

    I know PWI is a business and handing out too much coin damages profit, but a little monetary reward or tradable items wouldn't hurt. Morai is already an entire expansion of coin sink. Something along the lines of the Treasure quests or the tide quest would be a nice change.

    A small step in the right direction indeed.

    Although my favorite incentive for questing would be : remove hypers from the boutique/tokenshop and give 1 (the non-tradeable/non-accountstashable version like they gave a few times on gifts) for each quest completed. Maybe 2 for big chains like token of the 7.
