How do I get something like a partner?

I wish my other char could help me fight. And I really wish I could have it so that it makes the other char fight that monster when I fight that monster. Is this possible, and if it is how do I do this?

    If you're by yourself then your best bet would be to roll either a Venomancer or a Mystic since both can have summons that can fight with you.

    If you have a friend who plays the game as well, just party when him when you're on, and attack things together.

    But I want MY other character to help me fight and I've put so much time and work into my assassin. I've heard of assist attack but that's only half way I want it to target it, and then fight it.

    Then nope, there is no way currently in this game to do that without breaking the rules and ToS.


    The closest you can get is to use two clients, and alt tab between them to attack and whatnot.

    If that's what you want, then you should play *****, not PWI.

    If you have a medium to slow pc, set all game graphics settings to low/off.

    Then do this:

    After you have started up the game, click the game icon once more. This will start up a second game on your computer. Log in your second account (you need to create a second account on the website ofcourse on a diff email). This is legal and very effective when farming mats and such.

    On second account I recommend a cleric of you play a tank/DD class. Or my fav combo: Mystic and Venomancer (they heal each others pets). Remember to keep a few spells at low lvl and you won't need pots either, with 2 chars DD you don't need max skills.

    Just learn how to use macros effectively and log a second client. You'll have to play on window mode and tab over to the other window but it will result in one assisting the other. Once you do that it's all about knowing which character to actively play and which to set on macro. For example, sometimes I dual client my sin and cleric. If it's a boss I just need a little bit of extra healing, I'll just throw the cleric in bb and actively play the sin. Sometimes though, I need a real healer. In those instances, I put my sin on macro and then actively heal it using my cleric. Sometimes I do it just to save charms. Like I'll drag my cleric to the second boss in FC cuz it still don't die in like a spark. Then i'll put the sin on macro and constantly ih myself and absorb all the bubbling and stunning on her.


    You could do the same concept with a bm. You can get a macro going and then focus on debuffing with things like hf on the bm when the sins macro is at it's strongest point. Or get a seeker and put into vortex and then focusing on pulling and debuffing mobs into the seeker's vortex with the sin.

    You probably won't be as effective as someone who just recruits a facmate or friend to help them. But sometimes you don't want that (like when i solo fc. I can do it w/o the cleric, the cleric just saves my charm bill. I wouldn't want to pay someone to come and help with the second boss.) and during those times it's nice to have a second character.


    Another thing to keep in mind is that you can only have 2 accounts logged at the same time. So if you have a catshop open, you ought to be logging it out before you switch to the secondary character to help it out.
