r8 gear

is it worth spending 100 bucks for the r8 gear or will i be able to do PvP with r7 gear as well?

    sure get r8 if you are gonna spend that other 2000 on the r9, other than that you could get full on recasts +12 and maybe then you will have some chance against the heaviest of cash shoppers..or you could go play vendetta.

    Or you could stop being a ***** and playing a game and go buy a real bow or sword and do some irl RPK and pwn some newbs in your neighbourhood

    but on a serious note, 100$ is best spent elsewhere and not thrown away on this game. get a console game, or a pc game, or 6months on a p2p game where gms are active, new content is delivered and bugs are fixed, or preorder and get Wuild Gars 1 & 2 and play those.

    I honestly don't think it's a good idea currently to get r8 unless you're a sin/cleric (and possibly archer?) or you're planning on getting r9 soon as well or are a support class going for def levels/puri/purge/whatever on r8 recast wep.

    The 40 atk levels on the g16 Nirvana wep makes it a very good alternative wep to r9 for all classes but clerics/archers. Clerics because they don't need attack levels and archers because they need the purge proc r9 bow gives.

    Idk id say for the 100$ r8 for any class but barb and bm is probably the best value for money you're going to get in the game. I mean sure now you're nothing special with r8 but like if this guys making a thread to discuss spending 100$ I doubt he's gona drop a couple grand to get r9.

    If you want to pvp...dont bother getting r8. Im guessing you will refine it to +5 mostly which will mean youre a 1 shot to almost any active pker on HL. Otherwise spend the money, sell gold and farm nirvana. Use the coin you made to get the last cannies/raps you need and get your nirvana gear/wep. then farm nirvana more to recast it ^^
