Are Wizards still valued in ANY way?

It's been a long time since I've quit PWI... Then i played JD, then quit for FW, then quit and now I'm in LOL and Diablo 3, and other things... I'm thinking about coming back to PWI, I miss it, it was my first MMO (:
BUT ( :/ ) I remember I was having bad experiences qhen I quit... overpriced items, overpriced gold, pay to win and all that... And, the worst, wizards were a dead and damned race. Psychics just pretty much replaced wizzies, and I just couln't even get a single BH party... It just sucked.
so, the question, are wizards any valued these days? And are the servers (lost city...) still populated? Easy to find parties for anything and such? If not, I won't even bother playing again...

    Casters are wanted for both caster nirvana and AEU, and favorable in BH SoT
    Wizzys are awesome magical DD's

    Thing is, if you wanna play this game just to 'be wanted in squads', go play a cleric or barb

    If you wanna play the game to have fun, play the class you enjoy

    If you want a specific example:
    Frostblade for the BM/Seeker in Caster nirvana
    9 out of 10 voices in my head say I'm not crazy... the 10th is singing the music of tetris

    Lunar, Rebirth, BH Metal, BH Abaddon.
    Be kind: Help the GMs to depopulate the servers.

    Wizards are mostly wanted for pk and TW, a few instances here and there.. but if you are more interested in pve, you may want to look for another class.

    we have a barb shortage now

    last update made them needed for non-hax squads

    Wizard is very good in AEU, Warsong, and most of the BHs. Normal nirv and TT are the only places now where APS still dominates but those markets are so overfarmed they are dead outside of 2x.

    I guess somethings did change here in PWI :D
    Well, I've played many other games in these two years, I guess I've at least acquired some more experience XD And I'll try hard and lvl my *** up already :D

    yeah, farming toons are overrated now


    its nice to farm your stuff yourself..
    atm farming tt90 bows for wifey and me

    5 times in a row no drop on green boss in 3-1 ~.~
    might just as well buy the mats if we hit 90 earlier... woot- why do we have assasins again?



    like all mats dropped in price by tons, so you need to farm more.. drop price even more
    and to farm more you need better gear or more time

    yes better gear, how long do you need to farm to get into the profit zone after getting full+10 armors and +12 weapon for farming in the first place?






    so you could just go and play wizard right away and improve slowly?
    no other toons to worry

    unless you like to play different classes like me


    i like it to be able to adjust my class to the need of each squad.
    exception to that need is cleric. i dont play healers.
    (thats a girls job)
