Well the fact that it rerolls sockets as well as new stats each time seems like a fair swap for an endgame. Would you rather try to reroll for new sockets or burn 200mil to add a 2nd socket to your weapon for example? Keep in mind not everyone can afford the transfer stones in the first place who get the g16. I think it was there way of trying to place nice for the majority of the playerbase, while only a few people it hurts. That and the reroll costs are pretty cheap I think. ~75gold to save a +12 2 socket with g12 gems in it when chienkuns are on sale

It's an completely End game item at the moment..... do you really honestly expect it to be that easy to obtain what you want? I mean hell other then getting the mold you need to drop making g16 is easy a hell.

I think its good that it costs chienkun stones to re roll cause now we dont have any more of this i got ****ed up stats i'll pay 10m to re roll while keeping my refine and sockets until i get the best possible stats.
Sounds like another way the gms are trying to make this game move a bit slower and be played as it was intended

the point i think was to make people farm new nirvana weapons to make g16, making people play more, since transferring high refines, and re-transferring every role is so prohibitively expensive. It also doubles nicely as a revenue generator for people who are willing to transfer, siince the mats for the g16 gear itself is free.

and again, kudos to PWI for coming up with a way to require people wanting the g16 nirvana gear to actually have to farm it, and not just buy it from farmers.

Anyway if a game didnt update the endgame content and gear (once the majority of the player base have reached endgame) the game would fail.
So your either one of these people that cant be pleased or you just got r9/nirvana and feel like youve been screwed over
