bye people since the last 2 updates i cant play the game it simply doesnt start in ubuntu and i get wrong grafics in XP reinstalled verified and did all the **** but since a lot of my friends also dont play anymore or play it soooo few i simply quitting i'll play any PWE game when they have a linux client, i dont regret the money i used, but i'll guess i'll see any mmo as a scam now on thanks to PWE have a nice game cause i know PWI is a nice game and i hope you dont get to quit cause PWE broke the game for you too b:byeb:byeb:bye

    I had some windows games running better on Linux than windows. It's not like Windows advertises itself as a gamer OS, and I remember when DOS was the OS for games.

    Dos is the **** i still do xp repairs via dos sometime x_X.

    Regards to the post we'll im not using Linux although i am gonna upgrade to linux soon as from win vista up all sucks w8 wont even be any different.But u do realize than when u reinstall xp u have to update dx9 otherwise Graphics wont work :X.Anycase can understand most of your friends don't play so hope u get an awesome game to enjoy b:bye

    the game runs well on ubuntu when you run it on terminal. Dunno why it doesnt run like before but now it only runs when i execute it on terminal. in element folder just type wine ./elementlclient.exe

    And about linux and games...on Linux there is nothing that couldn't run games. Game developers just dont have budget to make games for all platforms so they choose one that has most potential buyers.

    There's a lot of options to run windows games on linux. For example, you can use CrossOver(you can try the free version), Wine(doesn't work so well) or you can install Virtual Box and in the VirtualBox install Windows XP/Vista/7/8,etc..I used to play PWI on Ubuntu 12.04 using CrossOver and it worked well! :) The only problem is when the free version of CrossOver ends you can't play PWI anymore until you buy the program. :/ So I suggest Linux users to use VirtualBox to play PWI. b:mischievous
