Hello there,

I used to play this game since the first day it was online, but I quit after getting bored of PVP system, also territory wars. The point is I may give it a try again, I play at Lost City and I have some questions,

I used to lvl up doing the quests given by NPCs, also the world quest flying around the world and other were I had to buy some jewels and mix them (daily quests) and helping noobs at fbs. I used to make money by farming and hunting. I got a lvl 80 cleric as far as I know. I was at forbidden guild, dunno if it still exist...

So my question is, what are the biggest changes from that times to now? How Im supossed to lvl and make money nowdays, if anyone can enlight me I would be pleased.

Thanks in advance,

good luck.

That already existed when I used to play. But the items at shop were useless, ppl wasted ton of cash at mounts, wings or dresses to have a "cute" appeal in game... just some pixels for me. What real advantage you can get now from shop? I mean I know I can just buy zen and sell at auctioner, it used to happen before too. Btw whats the price of zen now with in-game coins?

the biggest change would be the new instances(morai) and probably fc which is now the way to lvl / power lvl

also as for epic gear from cashshop its called r9 its insanely powerful for a very expensive cost XD

and tw is dominated mainly by who has more r9s with btr playing skills n refines

as for money farming is still good with catshopping and being lvl 100 and doing bh XD

also the standard gear has become higher lvl 80 is considered kinda low now

You can literally buy your R8 and R9 gears from boutique these days b:chuckle. Oh and price of gold? On archo it`s bit over 1.2m piece atm.

You'll have lots of trouble finding help for all the FBs, bosses and cultis you'll need to do. So the easiest way for you to level will be to hyper frost so you can reach a level where there are enough players left to accomplish stuff. So you'll need to probably buy hypers. You'll probably want a fast mount and a flier. Then when you get to end-game, you'll want gear. Good luck farming it as most people run private parties and don't invite anyone, or you can chance yourself running pickup parties with a whole bunch of fails and theives.

So if you want to play, go for it. Gold is 1.2-1.6m coins ea. Have fun.

FBs + Quests are outdated. It wasn't much rep + exp anyway. My main was once a barb and I always got pmt a view seconds after logging to tank fbs... was a waste of time but I'm always too friendly to say "no" b:surrender
Nowadays ppl buy level service in frost and get hyper stones with tokens. This way it's way faster and cheaper than it was back in the days (if you charge abit and sell the gold you can become lvl 100 with HH90 gear for ~5 dollars).

I used to make money by farming and hunting.
If you have time and no money you can still make coins with farming mats, ppl still need it to lvl their crafting skills. E.g. high mats sell for 3-4k each. Its no big deal to make 500k+ per hour this way if you know the routes. Boring grinding for thousands for hours for 1-2% exp and 100k coins per hour and meeting no1 else for hours is outdated. (the forum aggro kiddies don't want to hear this, they created their own reality/memory and believe only this xD)

I got a lvl 80 cleric as far as I know. I was at forbidden guild, dunno if it still exist...
Forbiden does still exist but its not a noob faction anymore. If you have still friends there they might invite you anyway. I would not expect that they level you up for free and farm your gear for free. The ppl which stayed in game (not the forum aggro kiddies, they spam only in forum) worked for years on their toons. Some ppl which come back expect that the others make them up to date within a view weeks for free. This won't happen. You will have to work for your gear too - or charge gold. For just 50 dollars you can get rank 8 gear + weapon now. If you cant afford it because you have no job in rl, you should better work on getting a job in rl than playing a mmo (not against you, just my personal opinion)

So my question is, what are the biggest changes from that times to now? How Im supossed to lvl and make money nowdays, if anyone can enlight me I would be pleased.

-Nix-venos got fixed and are not they only unbeatable op class anymore. Almost every class with comparable gear can handle them now. PVP-attacks from a nix are a joke now, thats great.

    - Genies (you can equip them and they can heal, attack, lure, debuff and so on)

    - BHs - daily quests for lvl 50+ to lvl up relatively fast.

    - For 100+ toons BHs are a great way to make money.

    - You will get way more mirages in HH now (6x more in squad mode) - if u do 1-2 runs per day. Find another person who needs a cleric for buffs and heals, e.g. a sin or bm.

    - If you still want to play the boring asian grinder style you still can do it and won't get disturbed by annoying high-end rpker. They are at a view rpk spots only nowadays. And mats like e.g. colored glue sell for ~20k each)

    - You can get tishas/tienkangs for free if you sell DQ items at NPCs (fastest way to obtain them is in instances because elite mobs have higher drop rates). This way you can +6/7 you gear very cheap.

    - Nirvana gear is the gear for farmers. They recently released 3rd cast nv gear is, depending on class, comparable with rank 9 gear (which is extremely expensive, still more than 2k dollars. If you don't want to pvp (most clerics don't do it anyway for a reason) r8 is good enough for a cleric. You can still go for r8 recast weapon, which is also farmable, if you are in a faction with a base which is doing trials (raid parties in instances) on a daily manner.

    - We got tons of changes. But clerics are still wanted in every BH100 party. in every trial party, in almost every instance (only not in nirvana). The servers are old now, most ppl have 100+ toons so you should become 100 fast to play with others), clerics are still the best class for casual gamers imo. You neither need expensive attack skills nor best weapon (DON'T get the new PVE weapon, or ppl will hate you!). Buffs, ironheart, wings of protection and bb are basically enough. Get a genie with holy path to be fast enough and enjoy the game :)

The problem is if you dont buy with gold or game coins rank, after lvl 100+ no one will take you to any instance. They ask for R8 and 4-5 aps at sins even for a BH now. I just say, if you cant afford to buy gold or farm like crazy God knows what in game , you dont stand a chance. Is R8+ or no one will talk to you.

TW Was, and to some extent, still is monopolized by the big named factions, but are now reset on a 6 monthly basis, gives the smaller factions a chance to grab some land, World Quest still exists, to those that still know of it, and there is now something called Public quest, not sure if that's still popular to do. As for leveling up, you could grind :/ there's also Frost, depends if you're still into Old Skool grinding. I think Phoenix Vally is starting to get some popularity, its like frost only.... more aimed at varying levels, especially now they've released the 100+ instance of it. For making some cash, and I'll probably get some flak for this, Make a sin and sell bigrooms if you're desperate, but if not I know the shops in 1k still buy herbs :P among other things. Forbiden still exists if we're on about the same faction, and hold some land in the TW map (Not sure on that haven't checked recently) but yeah welcome back to Hell, Don't trip over the 150 odd stealthed R9 +12 Sins waiting to gank you on your way back into Arch, Kthxbai b:bye

EDIT: forgot to mention that majority of those Sins are 105 Thx to the Frost glitch that took several months to be fixed and was exploited to hell (Yeah practically none of them, as far as I could tell, was perma banned)

    Hi!

Maybe the best way to move on is trying to make a small (smart) group of friends with the same interests and synchronize your time to do BH, grinding, TT, FC together.

Can grow up like brothers and sisters b:chuckle

Thank You so much Silvy for the sig! b:pleased
