ok so what shouold happen after the download is done? anything??
if not what do i do now to play?

    Depends on what you downloaded. You should have either a RAR archive (sort of like a zip file but irritatingly different) --- in this case you need to get yourself a free RAR un-archiver program, google for that. OR, you should have an install.exe to run; once you unpack the RAR, that's what you get out of it.

    Run the installer and it'll set up the game for you. Then you'll need to let it update itself once and you can play.

    wow never knew games like this were so confusing but thanks i will see all i know is i hit download the top one it has taken a whole day it said done and nothing happened

    ok shopitup i clicked on one of the many things that came after the download and now something else is downloading andinstalling good or bad???

    Lol that's just the client updating itself.

    You should also be aware of which Server you should join when you finally installed it.

    Especially,be aware of what PvP/PvE server means.

    Better?,there is no "better",in PvP after level 30 anyone can attack you if you're out of a safe zone,while in PvE you can still enter in PvP mode,only difference is that in PvP Server you're forced to do so.

    Stick to a PvE server. You will enjoy it more. (Most PvP servers are dead now. and a few *******s in them will look for people like you that are easy prey to stalk and kill once you are pkable and it wouldn't be a fun experience for you.)

    You won't find it very interesting once you've been killed in one shot by someone 50 levels above you...just saying.

    Well once you hit level 30 you are always flagged for PVP. Which means any time you are out of a safe zone (generally a city/village with npcs) you can be target-able by any player. This means if some bored assassin wanted to he could follow you around until you hit level 30. And then keep kill farming you until you either rage quit or attempted to teleport elsewhere and escape the stalker. It's messed up that some kids do this but /shrug. They need that boosted PK count for their e-peen because they can't fight the big fish.

    Also agree with what he said.

    The biggest Populated servers are Sanctuary and HT. It depends what time zone works best for you. (Sadly Sanctuary works better for me but I was on HT since the beginning of PWI.)

    ok this thing poped up that said update settings and wants me to check some things and another that says well i do not get the other one but it has a tall hooded guy on the side and wants me to do something?
    and also thanks for all the help you two have given me so far it has helped ALOT
    and i will probaly need more

    You would be better off (ping wise) for Sanctuary then since its a PVE EAST server and Heavens Tear is a PVE WEST server. However if some of the events don't work with your schedule then you may want to do Heavens Tear.

    For example on Heavens Tear

    TW Is on the weekends generally 8pm Server time. (which is 11pm for you and me and actually works better for me.)

    Tiger event is at 9pm Server Time (which is at 12am for you and me)

    Whereas on Sanctuary

    Server time = your current time.

    So keep how your life is scheduled in mind too.

    Uh.... I couldn't accurately tell you but I would say 90%.

    You will run across people from multiple cultures who can speak more then just English as well as some who can't speak English at all.

    Btw there is no stupid question, except one not asked.

    Generally its a location you download your game patches from. Any of them work fine. They give multiple options in case one isn't working properly.

    first off i like your attitude second thanks i was curiose becouse the last game i played i could not undestand any of them.

    I think Mississippi is central time zone, I'm pretty sure it's straight south of me. Tho I am only about 2hours away from being in eastern time zone.

    If you are in central, you are 2 hours ahead of Heavens Tear(server time of 8pm is your 10pm) and an hour behind Sanctuary (server 8pm is your 7pm)

    I'm not sure about your time zone, it doesnt hurt to double check
