It depends on your base defense. If you have a higher pdef base the 2% reduction would be better then the 216.
Basicly as long as your base defense (buffed though better if unbuffed) was greater then 10,800.
There are other factors too but that just gives you an idea.[SIGPIC]http://i48.tinypic.com/2r61kw3.jpg[/SIGPIC]

I would take what KawaiiKen says with a grain of salt, a few days ago he claimed people were using r8 recast weapons in tw to wipe people a day before the tw. He quite often posts on threads just for attention.0

A wild troll appears trying to de-rail a thread and attack a person they don't even know. Wrong gender again but think what you want. b:chuckle[SIGPIC]http://i48.tinypic.com/2r61kw3.jpg[/SIGPIC]

this has been covered before.
% Reduce dmg sucks.
if you ave 22k pdef and which is about ~82% wearing gear that combines to 10% reduce physical does not increase that value to 92%.0 -

This.
Say your p.def reduces you incoming physical damage by 90% and a mob hits you for 1000 damage, you'd be hit for 100 damage.
If you also have 2% phys reduce from a piece of equipment, then you'd be hit for 98 damage.
It's not amazing, but when you stack it to like 10-15% it at least makes a difference.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
idk how the % damage is done, because in theory, if you have 100% reduced phys damage, you take no damage. either its literally added to whatever your current defense is, or it may be in proportion to ur current defense (ie 1% less phys damage taken from what you would take with current defense and no % reduc).the loser fail nab cleric from dreamweaver who quit pwi, but still wanders the forums.0

The "Reduce Physical Damage by X%" and "Reduce Elemental Damage by X%" mods are not additive with your defenses, they are multiplicative. That is, if you had 90% reduction from your defense and then a 10% reduction, you wouldn't get a 100% reduction, but rather 91%.I am Olba. Not Ol, not Baze nor Blaze. The more P.DEF you stack is also effected on all levels, you should notice by leveling up, you notice the % drops if you have the same P.DEF, that means you still have the same % for the previous levels but for low level it is very high.WTB PWI 2008 where people were thinking more about doing good rather than pretending to be.0

Actually, it's not like that.
The reduction just depends on the attacker's level. The Character Info menu just shows the reduction you would have against someone of your own level, thus it gives the impression that leveling up your character lowers the reduction. In reality all that is happening is that the Attacker Level used to calculate the reduction is increased.I am Olba. Not Ol, not Baze nor Blaze. And even less would I go by Olblaze.
