My wife and I have a pair of assassins we are bulding to farm fbs, tt, etc., and I was wondering if I could get any advice on skills. On to the questions.
1st, does Sage Rib Strike's effect of reducing max hp by 10% for 10 seconds work more than once per target, and 2nd, do Sage and Demon skill effects combine or does Sage overwrite Demon and vice-versa? Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

The HP reduction, as all HP reductions, is a one-time thing.
As for the effects, they don't combine.I am Olba. Not Ol, not Baze nor Blaze. And even less would I go by Olblaze. Please, take a second to read a person's username.

A little more on the HP reduction:
When you reduce the max HP of a mob/boss that;'s at 100% HP, to say 90%, his current HP will also drop that 10%. So you effectively deal 10% of his HP in dmg.
After the HP reduction wears of, he will not gain back that 10% HP (thus, on a 10mil HP boss, you just took of 1mil HP in the first hit).
After that, you can still reduce his max HP all the same, but it wouldn't effect his current HP, because he's already below the new max HP
So for example on the subject of Sage/Demon ribstrike, (if you have both), you'd start with sage ribstrike, and than use demon ribstrike for the rest of the fight9 out of 10 voices in my head say I'm not crazy... the 10th is singing the music of tetris0 -

Can you clarify how the over-writing works?
I've wanted to do some tests on it but too lazy...
Is it the first effect implemented or does the effect get replaced with the next similar effect? So on the average boss fight (providing there's a sage and demon sin), sage rib strike would go first, then if the demon came in with demon rib strike while sage is still in effect would it over-write with the increased speed reduction?
What about cross-class? For example Sage Rib Strike and an archer's STA?Current Gears

Geh, I wish I knew. What about cross-class? For example Sage Rib Strike and an archer's STA?
For the HP debuffs, there's only one thing you need to know: The reductions can be overridden and they don't stack.. That is, if you have a boss at 100% HP and someone uses Sage Rib Strike, the boss drops to 90%. Now, if you use STA, that would drop the boss to 84%. Even if you used Sage Rib Strike after this, it would only affect the maximum HP of the boss and not the current HP.I am Olba. Not Ol, not Baze nor Blaze. And even less would I go by Olblaze. From what I've tested, the second skill overwrites the first one, no matter which one is higher lvl or better. That works with rib strike and buffs, so I'm assuming it works with every skill.
I used to do that on my cleric, when I hadn't lvld one of my buffs, I would "unbuff" people that way
But if you are 2, the best possible combination is a sage and a demon:
1- Sage bloodpaint + demon dps is great
2- Sage rib strike at the beggining, demon rib strike the rest of the boss
3- Until the demon sin gets enough hp/defense and dps toself heal enough, sage can tank
4- Sage subsea+Demon spark =>0 -
sage/demon duo is the way to go
u get all the benefits0
