Well the new patch is out and what have i found? Once again PWI has screwed players. How many folks spent long days and sleepless night farming r8? How many thought well I can't afford r9 and r8 is great gear, done the recast, just to now have all that work thrown out the window by the new third cast Nirvana?

Thank you PWI just when I thought you could not **** me again or any worse here it is, with extra grit and no reach around.
I am now thinking all the folks that have gone to the private servers may be right.
You folks have no clue. Nor do you even seem to want one.

Thank you for making all my hard work meaningless, cause lord knows that with a life out side the game consisting of 40 hours of work, being a single parent, and going to school, i have time to start all over on my gear. So thanks for **** me and folks like me by making the work we have done meaningless.

To those that will troll this post, consider that this is one of the very few times I have taken the time to post on the forums about anything and put yourself in the position of someone whom does have a life out side of PWI and please troll elsewhere.

    OMG seriously people are complaining about this new gear, which stands a chance against R9 and is quite easy to farm if you are dedicated, oh god if you are going to quit do it already b:shutup

    But seriously, you know the r8 recast costs about the same as regular r9, after you count in all the rerolls needed for decent stats and stuff... so you could have sold the mats and gotten r9 instead. Then your gear wouldn't be as far behind.

    I'm sorry, but...what? Your rank 8 recasted gear is now meaningless? Does the 3rd cast Nirvana gear's arrival suddenly make all your r8 recasted gear autobroken and non repairable? If so, I guess your complaining is justified. But I doubt that happened. lol

    all i see is, dont get so attached to game where you spend more hours on it than outside...and yea it sucks for all your work going to waste, but life doesnt end..find something else to do, think about it, all the time you spent on this game studying, you could of been super smart and probaly rich now 2 b:bye

    Well, I was expecting that sooner or later. Over the years I saw and realised that nothing "unique", "powerful", "epic" remains as it is because there will be sales, packs, new gear.

    I kinda understand that though since you need achievements and goals and constantly improving your gear is one of those.

    The problem is that people require certain gears more than in the past (which is what annoys me), even for instances that high refines and OP gear are not needed. That and the lack of actual content that requires it.

    I, like you, farmed my gear. I won't lie that I charged a bit of zen here and there but for the most part it was farmed. The rep, the refines, the shards etc. I'm happy with it but I know some people will still consider it as not good enough even though it already beats what endgame gear/refines were available 3 years ago by far. I don't mind new gear added, I mind people who expect everyone to have it. I just don't run with that kind of people though.

    Your achievements are still great
    Wait untill ppl are done with farming & refining 3rd cast nirvana by that time they bring out upgrades for r8 recast XD
    And till then you can enjoy the game with your current gear b:victory

    +1 People really need to chill out and the OP needs to grow up. I agree the game is ruined. Thank the spoiled teenagers with an atrocious attitude.

    this game has been around since 08 sweetie, you gotta think "did they have vana, rank 9, recasts or any of this stuff back then?" No, simply this is not the 1st time, and its not the last time they will release new gear that is better than the last one. Whats the point of playing if your gear is the best and has been for years?

    but if you really dont like it, go to a private server. its much worse than pwi, only thing to do there is pvp and grind gear.so have fun there =/

    So we got gear that is farmable and competent with current R9 and you want to complain bout it? Imo that`s just silly but I suppose Blizzard gets QQ threads whenever new patch arrives(every few months) rendering all your work "pointless" as there will be new gear sets on every patch.

    I wish them QQ'ers would keep their QQ'ing in 1 thread, there's like a dozen of "QQ I hate the latest patch" already. b:surrender

    The thing that I've learned from this update is that I should forget about Rank Gear and farm Nirvana-Lunar instead,so in case they release a more powerful one in the future I can always re-sell my old set,unlike Rank gear that you can't even share between your same-account characters,you're just forced to trash it with no profit when you get something better.

    As far as I know, the 3rd cast magic weapons do not have Purify. If you are a supportive cleric or mystic, recast R8 still has plenty of value.

    If you're a BM or sin, 3rd cast does not have -int in chest or leggings. If you didn't want -int but only wanted better defense for TW, you should probably have gone for R9 anyway. R9 sports the 20 def lv bonus with 5 pieces, allowing you to go for NV 3rd cast hat and cape for the hp bonus, I believe this is in good standing compared to full NV 3rd cast with 15 def lv, even if NV 3rd cast has better defensive stats. Refine bonuses are the same, auto 4 sock just cuts away a lot of the hassle though.

    If you're anything else, you probably should have gone for R9 in the first place.

    Weapon-wise, NV 3rd cast is a very good answer to all the BM gripe about only having 1 rank weapon option. I think PWI did good with this update.

    So true, thats why I never cared about rep. It is not worth your time. When you get nirvana is pretty much overboard anyway.

    You should spend your time gearing up and leveling your child, not pixels in a game.

    Oh please.

    R9 and R8 are the cash shop options. Nirvana is the farmer's choice.

    And it's not like they suddenly made recast R8 worse or something. It's still way overkill for PvE, not to mention that it's the only way in the game for HA to get -interval on the chest or for sins to get 5 aps with a weapon that has no -interval.

    And besides, the new Nirvana isn't necessarily that great. For example I won't be even considering it as the leggings have no -interval and the set bonus just isn't worth the loss. The weapon might be interesting mostly because it has a guaranteed 40 Attack Levels and a pretty high chance for -interval.
