Why does HH99 Have better Base stats than NV?

On Pants. The G15 has less def than g12?
I know the adds are far superior but damn.

    +4% mag and phys def help make it better.

    Pretty sure they show when you equip them, but yeah can be hard to tell b:chuckle

    You notice the numbers go up. Use PWI calculator and see.
    Also the 4% covers all your armor not just the pants so if you got your HH 99 phy def (speaking for my NV sin) neck and belt pumped up to +10 4% really noticeable.

    Also I think looking at the forges 3rd cast pant goes up to +6% or even more?

    I think the lunar with fixed def is much higher then the % def. Lets take a EA for example. @ 101 they might have 5k def.
    4% of that is only 200 which is far less then the add of lunar->NV

    People are comparing the G15 TT with the G15 Lunar when that's not what the OP asked.

    OP asked about G12 TT99 vs G15 Lunar which doesn't make sense because obviously G15 second cast vana pants are higher than TT99. 1793pdef/770mdef on lunar pants vs 1445pdef/620mdef on tt.

    However, if he meant TT vana vs Lunar vana, Lunar has a 33% increase over TT. TT are cheaper to make and depending on the build TT can surpass the Lunar, but most the time it will not. Its based on the refines of the rings and ornies because thats what the 4% multiplies. For most gear it balances around +11 or +12.
