I was worried this patch would cause me more problems... since the Morai update I have been playing on the hot fix, but now at character select screen i cant see any of my toons and same in game... also lots of umm streching of objects/genie, i hoping just some tweeking of the 3d/fix will do it... but i have no idea... hoping someone out there can help?
A big Thank You if you canb:kiss

Post your problem with Screenshot helps a lot to fix the problems ,
You can try deleting your systemsettings.ini file for Perfect World International.
Go to My Computer and go here:
C:\Games\Perfect World Entertainment\Perfect World International\element\userdata\
or on older game client versions, or for XP and older Windows versions:
C:\Program Files\Perfect World Entertainment\Perfect World International\element\userdata\
(Note: This is the default location on your computer that the game installs to. It may be different if you changed it during installation.)
You will see a file named systemsettings.ini . Delete it.
Then re-start your game. The settings will be set back to the default settings as when you first installed the game.
Post your System info with DxDiag !

The tearing Silmarien is getting is most likely related to the video driver. I had a similar issue with a new driver version that did that on my Nvidia card and had to roll back to an older driver until a new one came out that resolved the issue.
Not sure on yours AirialAce, but I would start by checking driver, double checking the files for the client, and make sure that it's in your exceptions list so that your security software doesn't prevent it from patching properly.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
ok graphics card is not a new install.. have been using this since Morai..if it was ok on tuesday to run this.. as i say in op i have been using the 3d fix.. that you helped find Sylen...how would rolling back 2 older driver help? .. which it hasnt btw.
Seems i must accept that my 3.5years of playing PWI are at an end b:cry
Ive meet some great ppl here and im sad that it has ended this way... onward i go to find another game..will always have fond memory's of PWI and 1 day when i have the funds for a new pc... I will come back
Peace and Love
Happy hunting!!
