Unable to infuse Genie with Spirit or Exp

Before you read, make note that my Genie is NOT in trade state mode.

So as the title says, I'm unable to infuse my Genie either with experience or spirit. I am level 61 and so is my Genie. My Genie's experience is at 205673/205674.

The infuse and Level up button do nothing. Have the Genies been broken or some such?

    Your Genie can only be the Level that you are at...Once you hit 62, so will your Genie.

    I have the same problem but my genie is lower than I am. I can't even get the blob to move from cube to exp or spirit. What gives?

    Your genie must be in Trade State, U can't infuse exp/spirit when Genie is in Trade State
