The new content offering fun experience for heavy cashshoppers.
But also games get much much harder for average player... who cant afford to spend 2mil for set of hypers.0 -
hate it.. i need to do bhs now to open my fairy chests.. thats so ****ing ****.... i dont have time to do my bhs every day! omg im so pissed! hard to describe ( may sound stupid but fairy boxes were a good 360k every day for doing nothing..., thats 1,8m i lose out on every week now because i have to work, then work out during the week and just dont have the time for stupid bhs..)

I ran around in game last night checking a few things out. Some i think are very nice. The new Endless universe looks like it would be a lot of fun and a good challenge trying to figure it all out. Being able to gain prestige faster, thumbs up for that.
Aurora agent wasn't as game breaking as we thought it would be since its only 10 tries per account each day. Yes it cause tokens to skyrocket because the demand to start off would go up and the merchants knew this. (I woulda tried a couple if i didnt have a crazy SL timer, yay SL!)
The new gear will be good for end game pvp if people take the time to farm it. PvE it will make even worse. I think there should be an instance with bosses even r9 +12 people can find challenging. That way there is something to really work hard towards. But i would also like to see a group of very skilled undergeared people defeat an instance like that as well.
The addition of Fairy Box keys i found to be the dumbest thing. Why do we need a key? COME ONE! lol. Even with keys you can only open the 6 you were initially allowed to open. Seems kinda stupid to me. Let people play how they want to play, and don't force them into playing parts of the game they might not want to play. (are keys able to be traded? I haven't done a BH to find out)
There are other things i like and dislike, but nothing that really needs to be stated.0 -
Wait, you can't open fairy boxes at all now? I'd assumed the bh fairy keys would simply let you open extra boxes above the daily 6 box limit. Why on earth would they completely kill off TT? O_o0

The thing is, it's tame right now, but add a good pack sale, such as 100 packs for 22 Gold, and you'll see both Tokens and gold literally explode. There's various problems with that. If it's like the current thing they did, e.g. making daily things like BH more difficult, then it'll just hurt the lower geared folk. If it's something voluntary, kinda like Nirvana, then the drops will be questioned: If the drops are good, then it'll be seen as unfair and if they're not good enough, it'll be another waste of resources.The addition of Fairy Box keys i found to be the dumbest thing. It's probably something they put it to force the TT farmers to actually play the game during non-2x times.I am Olba. Not Ol, not Baze nor Blaze. And even less would I go by Olblaze. Please, take a second to read a person's username.

Way to go PWi you just destroyed the game for none cash shoppers, 1st time in my 2 years of playing this game i am considering to quit. let us know if you are working in tandem with Diablo 3 as it seemes you want rid of all the people that don't put money into the game. aside from needing keys to open fairy boxes which i think its pretty dumb, the rest seems decent. The new BH bosses are a bit challenging provided that you dont get the perfect OP squad to bypass it. (which is a good 90% of the time)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]lagunal8.deviantart.com

After browsing the forums a few times over the last few hours, I've come to the conclusion that this content update is the usual craptastic stuff.
Harder instances are nice, don't get me wrong. Unfortunately, making BH for specific hard bosses and changing the mechanics of how a multitude of bosses work, was quite stupid. Harder instances obviously are designed for people that have cashshopped merch'd to get +10 R8/R9/2nd stage Nirvana gear. The average player doesn't even have R8 gear. All of these boss upgrades/changes and advanced "harder" instances, will be great on a private server - where everything can be achieved without dropping a few grand in an outdated, unbalanced, and non-supported video game.
The fairy boxes issue is stupid on Wanmei's part. I realize that most of this patch is coming out before it's been released on PW-CN (or so they stated), but Wanmei was still the creater of this patch. This is a stupid move, and makes these boxes have no purpose now. With our one-man staff here @ PWE turning on 2x every damn month, they have killed the TT market (2 years ago it started going down, after they started with 2x). Most TT drops are worthless now, and these boxes was pretty much one of the only profitable area for farmers to get coin without spending real money in the broken game.
Weapon/gear upgrades... LOL. I understand wanting to get Nirvana 3rd stage. Nirvana 2nd stage is a bit underpowered in comparison to Rank 9. Unfortunately, there is no need for this insanely overpowered gear. These developers are complete morons if they actually think people need R9-3 +12 and Nirvana 3rd stage +12 to kill Kimsa or run a TT. I know I'm not getting into PvP, PK, TW, and the new instances. They only created these new instances and made them more challenging due to the current gear being so overpowered that it made all the current instances quite easy.
Bug fixes were a complete and utter joke. I called it. The only real bug fix was changing SP back to a non-PK instance/zone. That's not a bug fix, just fixing Wanmei's idiotic mistake. A bug fix is fixing a glitch/**** or fixing something in the game that is not working or broken. The client itself needs a massive overhaul and to be honest, the game needs most of it's game engine and graphics completely revamped. Just about everything is outdated in PWI, compared to other games. Even compared to other MMO titles by PWE, you can see the age. The auto-pathing system, for example - needs to be rewritten to support complete maneuvering around buildings, obsticles, and direct access to an NPC. Rubberbanding as well. Also, the incompatibilities with some graphics cards (on-board intel chips, specific NVIDIA cards, etc). Or how about the fact that PWI's client doesn't use multiple cores on a system, has major and massive memory leaks, and doesn't utilize the graphics card much at all. But alas, none of this will ever be fixed. It's too time consuming and doesn't make them profit. Also, they don't know how. The original development team (Archasaur studios) was bought out by Wanmei and most left the company.
As for tokens being so high - blame PWE/Wanmei. Their idiocy did it.0 -

Yeah this expansion is horrible, all it is going to do is force people to gear up more or gtfo. All PWE cares about is your money and this expansion just shows that even more.0 -

Unstashable keys suck.
People being too stupid to deal with new bosses suck.

sanctuary has gone dwn to 20-25k, and possibly lower later.
as for the bosses. Good god. Now we know what sort of difficulty you expect and hope from this game. Dont join any subscription games or you might slit your wrist if you find out that new bosses there will wipe your party most of the time and will take weeks for the average player base to complete.

Aside from the Aurora Agent (who is temporary, luckily), I'm loving the new update! I haven't had a chance to try out the new advanced endless universe but I had a blast in the new warsong. I went in with a group of friends, all of us were on vent, and we couldn't stop laughing, we ended up loosing a few of the pavillions (so no full warsong, boo
) but it was hilarious hearing everyone's reactions to the mobs and the head "oh no, I got purged!" or "omg, what hit me?!". We tried out the bosses, in both normal and hard mode, they're about the same difficulty in normal mode. They were really fun in hard mode though, my favorite was probably snake. He has a good chunk of the new morai skills (he turned us all into frogs xD) and it was fun actually having a reason to do the other bosses. We had a few close calls, and I definitely want a veno in squad next time I go in there, but it was fun and challenging. I haven't had to move my fingers so quickly while playing pwi since my 20x3 in wraithgate b:chuckle
Now to happy about the molds being bound though set your squads to free if you do it and make sure whoever needs it picks it up >.<" 0 -

i wanna shake hands and wave to whoever made this expansion, im sure that u craked ur head way too long to come with a way to ** up the game for f2p players, r9 second cast is a dream for farmers, what make u think someoen is actually gonna get a 3rd cast full set......
and about 3rd cast nirvana.............if get second cast was hard and actually refine it to +10 was harder (when ocean orbs used to be 5 per 100 gold), what on earth make u think someone is ognna 3cast his gear, and then refine again, or waste a fking load of chiekuns to keep refines and sockets....bcuz if needs a lot from 1st cast to second cast.....i dotn wanna imagine 3rd cast...........but well, GG pwi designers, need a lot of imagination to ** up something so hard b:byeb:bye[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
What on earth is the deal with the new bosses?
Squad just spent about 2 hours wiping on the crazy new boss in abba. It randomly one shot people who ran up to it. One shot when people rez. And randomly one shot for 16k to 20k during the fight. Tried a whole bunch of tactics regarding that self buff it has and using different skills, debuffs and such. And then I hear someone in faction killed it without an issue, just attacking with caster DD's, no tactics or tricks whatsoever.
I'm all for tactics on a boss, but at least they should make some sense. Boss either seems extremely easy or insane.0 -
I don't really care about token price. Of course I have been using tokens for mana herbs as they were cheap but now I will adjust and get something else. Recently PvE has been too easy compared to gears of majority. Markets are what people are willing to buy on stuff and one can adjust on that easily. I will continue enjoying the game like nothing happened...b:pleased0

I agree that the FB keys are lame as you already had a limit on opening them. I stopped doing TT when they took them out of solo mode so its not a thing for me though.
As long as I still get free mirages for trading caster tokens on all my toons and can sell tears I still have income even if my 2 fav bhs have become trollhavens.
Seriously all I heard in WC and fac chat last night was people getting one shot over and over for 36k damage through BB. I decided not to do BH1QQ and went to pay Dragon's Dogma instead b:dirty
I was somewhat disappointed that the new morai questline was just like 3 quick quests and then off to EU. Does the regular version exist anymore? The gate keeper didn't have the toxin quest, so I guess not. Sad I hadn't done it yet.
Haven't tried out new warsong or lunar yet. I hear that the fee was removed? I actually had my first bh lunar the night b4 update. Was really fun and surprisingly easier than I thought it would be.
I heard on forums (which unfortunately only 1% of players use) that the new bosses shouldn't be meleed while they are buffed and that is what ends up Tonberry shanking squads. I'll wait for people to get this fact before I do bhs for a bit. I'm in shroud for the xp and I'm gonna get my last 35% to 102 b4 I start the suicidal stuff b:chuckle
Reverting sp is great so that I can do my dismal quest on seeker without getting trolled, or worrying about some noob standing there in aoes and QQing that we were pking them.
I'm glad I restocked herbs recently and have been miserly with them as they gonna have to last me for the foreseeable future b:cry
I wonder how long it will be b4 I can find Gaia's blessing for a decent price. Since bhs are off the table for a while decent price means pretty damn low b:surrender[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
