One silly chubbie decided to go outside the game area and go into the personal life of another player, posting without consent picture with him on a public forum.


With so many waaakoooss out there, who can say this fellow wont be recognized as someone from the game he use to PK and go kamikaze on him.

This can be a point of law suit against Perfect World Entertainment but moreover, there is such thing as called right to privacy.

You agree not to post, upload to, transmit, distribute, store, create or otherwise publish through the Site any of the following:

(a) User Content that is unlawful, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, suggestive, harassing, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory, fraudulent or otherwise objectionable;
(b) User Content that would constitute, encourage or provide instructions for a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party, or that would otherwise create liability or violate any local, state, national or international law,
(c) User Content that may infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other intellectual or proprietary right of any party. By posting any User Content, you represent and warrant that you have the lawful right to distribute and reproduce such User Content

So kids, play the game, be nice and do not try to get revenge on someone by disclosing personal details such as photos without consent on a public forum.

    HT's forum gets this every so often. From Facebook stalking to using rl pics of a player in a sig to insult them. GMs/Mods rarely do anything about it.

    all you said is true sadly but gm's and mod's will do nothing for one simple reason: there is no money into it... if was a charging issue or charging related they would take less then 5 min, but its ToS they maybe take AT LEAST 3 month

    I've quit excluding TW for my faction. But I still hang around to help out those who still enjoy the game under PWEs horrific handling and to have fun in the forums. b:cute

    If you make a valid complaint, your thread will disapear. Don't post it here, post it on other sites where PW can't hide it.

    Anyhow, these are malicious actions intended to harm the privacy and personal life of the users by USING COMPANY'S RESOURCES. (Forum)

    PWE should watch out for such actions and set up an example.
    First thing people have to do when they wanna play this game is to read T&C.

    One puts his info on interwebz, one has to live with it. Granted this kind of break of ToS shouldnt be tolerated and the wrongdoer should be slapped by staff.

    Man up. Say "So what, I'm hotter than you gtfo". When you let them know they got to you, they keep going because jerks feed on reactions. You made that picture public on the internet for whatever reason, it's out there, and out of your hands, and it's not illegal to disseminate it. There are girls on Sanc who get their realstory nudes spread around the server, on world chat, etc. Nobody got banned from it, and they have to deal with the consequences of giving people they thought they could trust pics. And believe me when I say, some of these nudes are not very flattering. b:spit

    Lol Spell, I've seen MUCH, MUCH worse of people "bringing irl to the internet". Much worse as in the person who was tormented had to move out of his country, change his name, and even his appearance, just because his "irl" got put on the internet.

    Not to mention.. Hellooo? There's a whole thread in the same subforum stickied dedicated to people posting up their real life photos.
