Website Account Issue

For the last 3 days I am unable to look at my account to check on a Ticket I submitted. I have tried HUNDREDS of times and all I get is sent to a page that reads:

The page isn't redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept
cookies.


!. Have cleared the cache SEVERAL times manually AND with CCleaner and rebooted.

2. I have tried OTHER web browsers.

Please so not tell me to submit a ticket because I CAN'T get into that section of my account to do so.

    That certainly is an odd one. You might want to try the Chips Ahoy browser. I think it likes cookies. Or was that the Monster browser?

    In all seriousness though, if you're having that same issue on multiple browsers, then it's likely something else on your system that is preventing the cookies that the page needs in order to work properly.

    Alternatively you can send an e-mail to customerservice@perfectworld.com, explain your situation, and ask for an update. Although typically when they update your ticket, you get a notification email immediately.

    b:chuckle Yes... odd, isn't it? I have made sure that cookies are being accepted, so I don't know really what the issue is and it only occurs when I try to enter "support" and "my account" sections. Nothing else.

    It can't be duplicate cookies, since I clear the cache and immediately log in.

    It's not just you with the problem, I also cannot check up on tickets AND haven't received a reply from PWI like I usually do whenever I update a ticket (via email). I'm assuming the support server has crashed? Or because they're changing to the same account management as Ultimate Game Card website uses, maybe this is the reason why they're delayed. Either way, my patience is wearing thin. I wish you luck Vespa, because i've already given up on trying to find out the reason.

    For clarification, I get the same error message in all browsers (Firefox, Chrome and IE8&9), all of which I've tried the suggested troubleshoot fixes from the internet without success.

    My process to reach the error page:
    PWI Home page (pwi.perfectworld.com)
    Sign in -> Support -> (Notice i'm not logged in) -> Sign in again -> Error page
    or
    Sign in -> Support -> 'Your Account' or one of the drop-down sub-pages -> Error page.

    I had this problem a while back with a Fox show forum, did all the delete cookies, enable cookies, all the suggested things on the internet and nothing worked. However, there was one thing that did work, clear cookies and try logging onto your account through a proxy server.

    I had the same problem on a different account. I used several browsers, even tried using a different computer and I still could not get the ticket page to work. I was told by other players having the same issue the reason this is happening is if you have changed your email address. So if you are now using a different email than the one you used to set up the account, you can no longer use ticket support. This is what I heard, not sure if it is true. It has to do with a glitch with core connect. And if you do email customer service tell them in the email to only use that email address. They ended up closing my ticket 3 times due to what they said was my lack of response, but they were sending the emails to the wrong address. In the final email I think I stated 5 times to not send to my old email but my current one. Oh and also state (repeatedly) that you can not access the ticket page or they will expect you to respond through it, which you will not be able to do and when you don't the ticket will be closed. And remember keep your email polite, if you want to visualize your hands reaching through the screen and choking the hell out of someone you may, but don't let on in your email.

    @Era_Saga - You were spot on with that. I changed my email recently due to account security concerns. Thankyou for solving this mystery! :)
