    Umm. When I first joined I started with a sin and I put points into all of her stats. I also avoided doing quests, trying to grind with no hypers or anything to level. Oh yeah, and I didn't know that we could fly or anything so I tried swimming/walking to Archo from Raging Tide. It...didn't go well.

    I think the dumbest thing I've -almost- done was nearly listen to an idiot on my veno's build. There was a person in the guild I was in who was always giving me hell for not having a pure magic build. Then I realized listening to him would be stupid when he got on his veno and somehow couldn't even keep his pet alive.

    When I first started playing and I saw all of the different skill trainers, I thought that you could get any skill no matter which class/Race you were. I was really excited about getting mage skills...


    I also thought vit eas were so pro that I made my ea into one until lvl 80ish or so..when I was grinding fish. When I restated to mostly full dex, I thought "Oh wow I kill things so much faster now" I still miss the HP regen on it though..was awesome


    Also, one time I was pking/red and I dropped to worrahteaD and he said that he would give my items back but he was out of safezone and I went out and he killed me and I luckily didn't drop anything and he accused me of using dolls. Then, in party I was just dropping my gear and picking it up in sz and he started picking it up and said he would give it back to me and I believed him. Then he left party and I saw my stuff in AH. He had my first midnight, a dress and my bow. But I worked quickly and bought new and better items. Dumbest thing ever

    Hmm, latest one was buying a bunch of lv9 Warsong Essence on the auction for like 100k each. Thought I'd make a nice bit of profit.... found out the hard way that selling near empty (1xp) cubes was doable. Ended up putting them back up for 150k, and after 3 attempts they all sold. Kinda feel bad about that, but meh.

    First time I did a key run for Nirvana, I thought the red quest after killing the first boss would teleport the party to the "room for the special boss". So I decided to leave that until we'd cleared all the other bosses first.

    First time on Runewolf in Frost I thought I'd see if his super mega slash skill was cancelable...

    Got greedy on a +7 tt90 gold axe after successfully refining it with less than 100 mirages and 5 tide quest tienkangs and tiesha's. Ended up spending something like 50 gold just getting it back to +7.

    ..too many to mention really...

    First archer I stated magic to spam skills. Still have it as a bank.

    I thought the skill books were there so one class could learn skills from another class.

    Always remember with fondness, luring mobs in 69 with reflect active....

    Many more, but my biggest regret (now) is not gooning some chars to 100+ like seeker and sin, when we had the chance.

    Multiple Fails Cause Im A Fail....

    I once saw someone laying on the floor in Plume city, me being a lvl 1 or 2 cleric I thought I could revive them with Blessing of the Purehearted >.>(that what it's called I can't remember >.<)

    I didn't know what attribute points were so at like lvl 10 or somethin I was walking around with no armor cause I couldn't equip any >_>

    At lvl 40 I did my fb19....someone offered to help on WC and I ask them for help. They saw my lvl and thought I was joking so they left...I ended up soloing it with my sister's veno

    This one's the fail est in my opinion....
    I was around lvl 70, and I was healing someone for the giant mermaid boss(i forget the name) and I was using a lvl 3 or so IH >.< I never thought to lvl it cause I assumed Blessing of the purehearted? was better -__-

    Made 25 gold from merchanting in 3 days (probably lucky), lost most of it in less then 15min by forgetting to put the last three 000. Thought maybe merchanting might not be for me and stop before I lose anymore coins.

    Miscalculated the orb sales today because I thought you only get 1x1* which you get 2x1*. When I relise you get 2x1*, I jump to conclusion thinking you get 2x of 2*, 3*, 4*, 5* as well and decided to buy 60 packs then relise they only give 2 orbs for 1* only. Was fun anyway.

    First time playing a mmo, I ended up in a pvp server by mistake because I didn't know the difference between pve/pvp. Ended up in a guild which attracted alot of enemies because the leader was dating a very active pvp leader of a very active pvp guild. Decided to change to a pve server after reading the forum learning their difference. Still in the pve server, I ended up by chance in the biggest guild and ended up involved in alot of pvp drama.

    When I first started playing my Wizzy back in '09, I was never without Frostblade, cause of the additional water damage...right? Then I finally figured out it only works for normal melee attacks. Now when I see all these high level Nouveau-Wizards casting frostblade on everyone in squad, including casters, I just shake my head.

    Uhhhhhh. Well, when I first started out, I couldn't find my way to Plume, so I quit the game. XD I also thought a genie was pretty much unneeded until my mid 50s or something.

    True enough. My wife will ask for frostblade on her veno for that very reason. :D



    Just remembered another dumb thing I did early on. I was probably lvl 20 or so and decided to explore that frozen area across the river from Etherblade. Hadn't earned my wings yet and didn't have a mount, so I swam across the river and started dodging all the dark-orange named mobs. Ended up getting killed, of course, and wound up in Avalanche Village. Then spent the next hour getting one-shotted trying to sneak my way back to the lowbie zone. Lost count of how many times I died getting there.

    That is because it used to be true, I still remember when suggestions were worked on, fixes were made and you would randomly see GMs walking around and greeting.

    But then again, those memories are from back when Live Chat still worked and once after a live chat a GM appeared where I was grinding and gave me a citrine shard just because I was very nice and polite.

    And in my case, I only wore NPC grade stuff until level 4x, when a friend made a 3 star piece of gear for me and I went WTF! You mean you CRAFTED this thing?

    That is when I discovered crafting... And refining... And that every piece of white gear and not the fact of being a wizard was what had me killed that often.

    Cassandru, I miss you. Still got that piece of armor somewhere.

    I used to believe that people who have claimed to have quit and movedon from a game they hate actually did just that. Turns out they just linger and troll forums/WC for months and in some cases years after they have 'stopped caring' or playing.

    So many to count, even in these days.

    But my very first was to join a sever because i liked the name, Lost City, and there was very few people on it. Then going light armor on a cleric, and distribuying stats evenly. At level 30 i realized my mistake and changed servers, my first cleric is still there. b:cry

    But the worst was the first time I saw a veno on Archosaur, I ran and ran after her trying to help her because a wolf was following her! b:shocked I didnt understand why i can't kill it b:laugh

    When I was around level 30 and bought a pack, I scored an uncanny chest. Asked on WC how much it was worth and the first/only pm I got was "Each crystal is 50k each." and I wound up selling them when they were still worth 500k b:cry

    I tried to tame the horses in lost city on my veno, thinking I could use them as a mount... Later tried to use the "riding wolf" as a mount o.o

    I didn't know you could turn the camera with the mouse, or make it turn with a and d buttons. So I used to fly up on my cleric, to turn my screen, before falling down and poking another mob again. \o/

    my cleric was a mix of HA/LA/AA....

    and so was my veno :3 By the time I was lvl 43, my faction asked my stat points when I was unable to use wheel of light. They suggested I restatted my vit, and go HA veno. b:chuckle

    Oh the joys of first fail characters. My first Blademaster.

    Stats all over the place, strange mixes of gear & the icing on the cake - proudly prance into bh29 in first fashion outfit - problem was I had removed all her armour. Thinking it had to be removed to put the fashion on. Wondered why she used heaps of pots & still got splattered lol
