PWIC 2012

Why hasn't there been any mention of this on our version yet? Other versions are already setting up registration for their elimination rounds.

    Because PWI is going to wait to the last second, limit it to land holding factions because they assume they are the only ones who enjoy organized group PK, and then do a bad job with the contest rules and send the best PvE team. Just like last time.

    Frankieraye lost the respect of everyone least year when he hand picked who would go to PWIC. It wasn't a contest of skill, rather a contest of wallet and butt-sniffing. I seem to remember a promise by the CM telling everyone that next year would be better organized. ROFL. Another empty statement made by someone with less skills than a Walmart door greeter.

    PWE, do yourself a favor. If you wish to bring back the old player base, restore respect to PWE and uplift gameplay morale, take three simple steps.

    1. Enforce your TOS
    2. Use a real planning, marketing and financial team. (People with degrees from a real university and not some degree mill from the University of Online Stupidity). Maybe then you can use your cash shop to enhance gameplay and not frack it up.
    3. Most important step. Fire Frankieraye. Don't move him to another game, flat out fire him. If anyone in my employment handeled situations as poorly as your CM, I would send them packing ASAP. Ask yourself, is one bad employee worth losing hundreds of players?

    My advice to new players? Have fun and enjoy your time at PWI. As a vet player... my best advice? Don't invest any real money in a PWE title. If you must, I suggest using paypay bill me later. That way you have 6 months to pay and if PWI isn't around then... well, dispute the charge. Good luck.

    tsk, it would be cool if people actually came out and said, "You know I know this one guy/girl who would be perfect for this contest", or maybe even going out of their way to send a GM a PM mentioning that person. Or maybe if someone who liked doing that went that extra mile and pm'd a GM asking how they could become a part of that so they could go and represent our verison of the game and us.

    Eh, but I guess people complaining about it and how it was done in the past and not how it could be better this time around is better.

    Then again if people were actually interested in the idea of a PvP tournament maybe they would have shown it when it was mentioned about players creating one and it being supported by PWE. I mean that would have been a perfect way for people to test their stuff and see if they even had what it takes. maybe thats one reason there was no mention of it.

    We used to do this... and as time went one we've come to realize PWE's staff is more and more useless with this sort of thing. Nowadays we simply don't have enough faith in PWI (and can you really blame us?) to bother.

    There arent 10 ppl in PWI which can be a real competitors in PWIC. I watched the last year tournament and PWI team was a joke... This year will not be diferent.

    There ARE good pvp players in PWI, the biggest problem? Some of them are not 100 yet, as they've been doing this right and learning the classes correctly (yes, I am including myself in that statement, I CAN PvP and I'm pretty good at it when it comes down to skill, but in PWI: money > skill)

    Meh, actually there is mass 20+ v 20+, with small skirmishes of ganks inbetween on my p.server throughout the day. With the highlight being of up to 50 people on each side. Better and more balanced than pking here.

    Frankie has had nothing to do with the forums except posting his 3 lines in the maint threads since the FC glitch update. He has better things to do than be a community manager and talk to us I guess.

    No one cares about a fake server that people are too lazy to farm/cash shop for their gear/level so they are handed it. just sayin.

    The difference being cash shop is free? having all the players on an equal footing is a bad thing? not having to do 50 ff runs to get 100 is a bad thing? being able to hit the cap without the near necessity of gooning is a bad thing? yo.ur logic escapes me

    I would say that 99% of players on those servers are those who QQ about R9 being OP, and how R9 is expensive.
    At those servers you get R9 in few hours. Then everyone think he knows game, comes to official server and starts to QQ again how R9 is expensive and OP. b:laugh

    That is what seems like such a shame to me. Just one person who probably living in his parents basement can create a server like that while a multi-million dollar company can't even create a temporary server to host an interserver pvp challenge to determine who gets to go to PWIC.

    PWE should just hire Bash to let people compete on his server to find the best team.

    Because give any noob full r9 recast with +12 josd and level 105 without any effort makes perfect sense. Ok guys here you go you lazy complainers here's your instant Win gear and level. have fun pking the **** out of each other because you have nothing better to do with your lives. If it was all about gear and level you're playing the wrong game.

    No. Because they wont be able to handle the PWIC as well as the fact rewards don't go to wanna be players who need everything handed on a silver plate.

    Lol @ these people just assuming they know something and posting out their azz. You don't even realize how many rank 9s and people considered to be top players from this game are playing there.
