Stat Allocation Question

OBVIOUSLY builds are based on player preference. But I did have a question...

I currently have a pure strength build. 7 str and 3 dex every 2 levels. (Current build is 5 vit/5 mag/189 str/86 dex)

To have endgame gear, I saw that you need 5 str and 3 dex every 2 levels, leaving 2 points to spare.

However, I've talked with different seekers. Most say that you need to add vit and a couple have said mag for using vortex.

Do I need to start adding vit and mag into my build? x_x

    You don't need to add into mag :) that'd be a waste of points unless you restat them at 75, but even then it's not worth it. If you're going to zhen before you hit 75 then you'll need a mana charm and enough mana to hold vortex, where an arcane hat with a mana addon and some turquoise shards will do the job :). If you still need mana to hold it you could also put some shards into your cape. Once you hit 75 the herb yuanxiao's will let you hold vortex even if you don't have a charm.

    Vit is quite nice to add and it can save you some money you'd waste on refines before endgame. I personally went with a 6 str 3 dex 1 vit build since I started my seeker. And I'm probably going to restat that into str once I get my endgame gear :).

    That's about what I was thinking. I've never heard of a seeker needing magic before. But I guess I'll start adding a little bit of vit into my build... I've wasted a LOT of money on pots for 54 levels now. haha
