Question about free download offers for zen.

So I was doing some free "Offer rewards" for zen off of the Matomy Money page, pretty much install a program, uncheck all the other **** it tries to sneak in, wait for offer to report, then uninstall the program. But AVG just popped up with a message on one offer saying:

"stats.matomy.com contains content from galleries.freedownloadsoft.net, a site known to distribute malware. Your computer might catch a virus if you visit this site.
Google has found malicious software may be installed onto your computer if you proceed. If you've visited this site in the past or you trust this site, it's possible that it has just recently been compromised by a hacker. You should not proceed, and perhaps try again tomorrow or go somewhere else.
We have already notified galleries.freedownloadsoft.net that we found malware on the site. For more about the problems found on galleries.freedownloadsoft.net, visit the Google Safe Browsing diagnostic page."

Now every time I install a program AVG pops up with the "Adware warning" thing, but I install anyways since im just uninstalling in 5 seconds. But a virus sounds a little more serious than adware. Would PW really put a virus distributing site on their forums or is AVG overreacting like it usually does?

    Doing free zen offers you will end up with more losses, namely by **** up your PC with all kinds of malware garbage, and I doubt PWI knows or even cares what 3rd party companies make you download, as long as they get a good deal out of it!

    Don't ever believe Free ZEN Offers. Those are always fake, have dangerous virus on them and will not give you anything. Just DON'T do it.

    This. Combine it with the fact that half of the so-called offers are broken and won't actually give you anything and you'll quickly realize it just isn't worth it and PWI could care less about whether or not it does anything for you.

    If you are going from the PWE site for the free zen the offers should be safe, that said if those people's sites have been **** they could easily be unsafe.

    I have done a ton of free zen, I counted it up once, but don't feel like doing it again and I was well over 15k of free zen. Yet I have never once done any of the offers that require you to download/install anything on your PC. I have enough people trying to **** me everyday with out opening my door to more strangers. Do the surveys, sometimes there are videos watch them, free zen takes a long while to build up any real amount. If you are over 18 and have a credit card do the netflix offer, I did it used my month and then turned it off. Or if you are over 18 and want a credit card try one of those offers.

    Don't expect to get enough free zen to get r9, cause I don't think that would happen before you lose interest in the game. But get some use it for fashion or charms and enjoy.

    And to be on the safe side, never download anything onto your pc that you are not 100% sure of. It's always better to be safe then sorry.

    Set up a free Google/Hotmail/Whatever account, run XP on a virtual machine, and do all of your "free" offers from there. It's safe, won't infect your system, and won't end up spamming your mail.
    BTW, half the free offers never seem to complete, even though you fulfill the requirements. PWE also has very little control over what is offered, and what sites get linked. Just filling out one single offer, you're approached by several other sites via the multiple ads, and not all are as reputable as the original source.

    Don't download jack **** for "free" stuff.

    The offers suck and most don't pay up anyway, but if you insist you want to do them, do the ones that won't involve downloads.
    I've quit excluding TW for my faction. But I still hang around to help out those who still enjoy the game under PWEs horrific handling and to have fun in the forums. b:cute
    #Shame about PWEs absolutely craptastic handling of the goons glitching. Remember kids, there's no punishment for breaking the rules here!#
    If you make a valid complaint, your thread will disapear. Don't post it here, post it on other sites where PW can't hide it.

    These are offers PWE hands to you on their own site. They're organised by a **** 3rd party tho.
