It doesn't matter if we get ganked or not. There's no way our faction of 30 would show to GD.

The lack of synergy between complaints about being no-showed and where the bid actually landed was the point of my amusement.

ROFL @ people expecting RoC to show to GD. We field 30 people. Figure it out from there. I honestly don't give a damn who in GD gets disappointed.

And to answer your question gracehana, no, GD didn't show to Enrage. But on that topic, we're not no-showing you to save charm. Heck Radiance burned more of my charm than any TW in GD ever did. The thing is, the entire point of RoC is to get good TWs, and GD isn't gonna be a good TW, so we're not gonna show. It's that simple.

wellll not ever since I joined GD xD because since I've first joined I've participated almost every tw b:surrender

and many times we did lose to enrage in tw back then but i still had alot of fun b:pleased
so I hoped other guilds would find some entertainments at least 'challenging' GD.

but then hey- this is just my opinion- im not here to troll or anything xD just thought and hoped RoC, Karma and other factions will become more TW active also.

we bid on lands- expecting some active tw fun- if you(any other tw fac) wish not to turn up- okay that's fine...? if you dont wanna turn up because you are certain you wont be able to win- ok? that's alright also. You have your reasons not to turn up- but i want you to know we have alot of ppl in GD *who were expecting some tw fun* get disappointed for no show.

Yes, as Aes mentioned, GD has no-showed Enrage in the past.

You can't expect everyone to be luvvy duvvy all the time in a game, especially in competition-like environments (PK/TW). Although sometimes it would be nice and just have a good time doing what said events are for, it won't ever happen in a large player based game such as this one. There's always going to be at least 1 person who is dissatisfied with what happens and they will QQ about it.

Why fight GD when there are other factions giving better utility for TW fun and satisfaction?

What's different now is that there are more options for TW fights, and being the top dog in this case is pretty boring. However, it was similar to Enrage as well, unless someone ganked.

The only reason to gank now is if you care about seeing if the top faction can handle it, which for now, only GD would want a gank. Due to 6 month resets though, you will never see the map completely dominated, and therefore, ganking doesn't mean much anymore.

Unless the other factions care about planning a gank on GD, GD for now, loses out on most, if not all, "fun" TWs, for quite awhile. As for if they care for stuff like that, only they will say.

Edit: How active is the PK scene? I haven't paid any attention to it for months, I'm curious about the claims of PK being boring/dead.

In no way is PK dead or boring, especially over the past few months. Karma still comes out every now and then and shows a good fight almost every time. So, I guess the claims were actually your assumption.

My assumption was based off of what others have claimed, from players on the server, and posters here on the forums. Even then, I would have an open mind about the actual state of PKing in this game, since you tend to see more negative comments than positive comments about it, which is why I asked how the scene was lately.

RoC TWs: where tact actually matters again and the upcoming TW's (OMG) strategy is actually discussed for a bit the day before the actual tw.

I'm pretty sure if anyone has watched any TW bid from a RoC member within the last month, they would see ppl of the squad scattered multiple places. We place a precious r9 in the wrong place at the wrong time, and we're screwed (and it has happened!). B/c there are so few of RoC, every person pulls a crapton of weight (YES this means ur **** bm, starsky) more than we ever did in the mass r9-epic refined tws of Enrage vs GD.

It is this 3 hr lingo of the tw going back and forth with a chance to lose at any time which makes the tw quite entertaining...even from a **** 4k hp's cleric pov. And it is literally "any time" since if Rad gets situated on RoC's HQ, we tended to lose over 6m before we can fight them off to turtle for regen.

It really does bring Alpha's hopes up to see tact matter a bit more in tw now. TW had become more and more "pk like" where each squad just has its small 2 minute coordination to beat the other opposing squad...just to kill ppl. In RoC defenses, each step is planned (ie. kill cats on right while playing defensively on left with minimal resources so that we desynch the 2 pushes for time to move a certain "best wizard" over.) There is much less coordination on a squad level, but with so few ppl and fewer r9s, it is very easy to keep track of who is where and coordinate as a guild, however tiny it is.

Last of all, it's been 3 years+ ever since I've had tw all crammed into one mega channel. THAT is fun.

Billions (if not more) worth of gear collected into the only faction who can field 80 in TW, and no TW.. that must suck. b:surrender
