In need of some pro wizard tips!

I have 435 on magic, 5 on dex, str 63, and vit..123 what can take off so i wouldn't be so squishy? I'm at level 102 btw Also is LA good for a wizard i really don't know. b:embarrass

    o.o It would actually be really helpful if you recreated your character in PW calc n posted it here, then we could give you tips that suit your character better :O just a thought <3 and honestly 123 vit is a LOT of vit.

    With all you gear off, for R9 you should have a max of 55 strength, take everything out of Vit, and dump whatever is left in mag.

    Rule of thumb for squishy class, kill it before it can touch you.
    Want to be able to tank hits, get good gear. R9 +10 with Vit shards will have you getting hard to kill. Get some good pdef orns, eg cube neck and a good belt. Capes have good pdef add ons too.
    Or if you want to take the line of pure glass canon, got full DoT on whatever G12 armour you can get your hands on and go for as much firepower as possible.
    LA has never been a respected option for end game wizzies, as it takes too much power away from your skills. It may provide a bit more pdef, but at the same time your mdef gets weaker also, and pys's and mystics and venos and clerics are just gonna kick you round the park all day long.

    I agree with many points Empress has except for the vit stones. Vit stones cost twice as much as cit shards and the pdef and hp regen it gives is incredibly miniscule. Get cit shards. :B If you put vit stones in your armor as a mage you will get laughed off the server.

    LA used to be a completely viable option and was very fun (I was LA til 90) - but like Empress said, our goal is to kill it before it touches us and as LA that takes away our nuking capacity. After rank came out however LA wiz is nigh but extinct :< Alas, the glory days are gone - stick with AA and use a pdef chrono belt, warsong belt, jungle belt, or 3* twilight's east wind and a cube protection necky c: It's conforming I know, but it's a popular build because it works.

    I think Rank gear killed the LA wizzie.

    every now and agian ppl think about la casters. It was actually usefull when best gear was tt99 bc caster's gear made them too squaishy. I used to see lots of LA wizzys, clerics and even bms ALL thinking of the same thought, i need more of the opposite defense. However i can only think of one caster that still does it. the reason ppl dont do it anymore is bc casters now need as much magic as they can get to get enough damage to tick charms, then finish the oppenet off. Now adays, LA builds will lack the firepower to kill AND with all the other powerfull char out there, buying urself 1 extra hit wont cut it.

    If you are squishy with 123 vit the problem is prolly in ur gears, post pwi calc will help us more to help you.
    I dont think La is the best build for a wizz.
    63 str is too much.

    Fixed for you, of course you can go for r9 +10 + JoSD but in case you can t afford that what I posted is a good start, and regarding LA, any non pure wizzy now a days = fail
