Training my pet in the Cube of Fate

Hi,

I just have a little question. Many people say I could train my pet in the Cube of Fate, room 4, very well. But how does it work exactly? Can I just go into the room, after I have completet the first three and then kill the monsters there? Do they respawn or must I go out and then in again? How difficult are the first three rooms. I'm level 50 now, is that too hard for me?
Do u commonly go in squats into the cube, or by ur own?

Well, it depends on luck. When you do the cube, you roll a die and the number of your die is how many rooms you move forward. So basically, if you roll more than a 3, you need to trade it in at one of the forges. I'd advise that you keep doing that instead of going to rooms 2 or 3, because the only way out at that point is to die, town portal, or use tele incense. lol

Anyways, once in you just kill mobs. They're easy; they don't fight back and you can one shot them. They respawn.

Cube's usually done alone, because of the whole randomness factor.

Thats sounds compicated and I don't know if I understood it right.
So if I rolled a 3, all is good and I can use it to get into room 4, right? If I rolled for example a 5, I can trade it at the forge to a number 3 dice. And what should I do, if I roll a 1 or a 2?

If you roll a 1 or a 2 just trade it in again. There's no guarantee that in room 2 you'll roll a 2, or roll a 1 in room 3. It's just easier that way xD

I usually round the mobs up with celestial sword(genie skill, leave it at level 1).

Then AoE them all. That is of course if there is only me n my pet or at the most one more veno.

i would just use the thrown die 1, and get to cube room #2. once there you've got a choice: try to complete the room and hope for a 2 on the next die, or fail the room and get teleported back to room 1 and try again.

    Here's how the cube works:
    http://pwi-wiki.perfectworld.com/index.php/Cube_of_Fate

You'd have to be pretty unlucky (roll a 1 three times) to hit all the rooms before room 4 - but you'd also be pretty lucky to hit it at all; often you overshoot.

So then you either complete the cube (worthwhile in its own right) or fail a room and try again from the start.

For my money - training a pet in there isn't worth it. If I hit the room when doing a cube run I'll spend some time levelling up a third or fourth pet; but I don't aim for it - my main pets are all maxed out just from daily use.

I must admit that I have never managed to get rolled-die trading to work.

How does the trading forge work?
    Well necro but anyhow,

You trade the die for a puzzle cube from the forges in room 1 in cube, they got numbers on them. Pick the forge that got the number of your die, then choose the room number you got your die from, the forge got the rooms divided into ranges, 2-9, 10-19 maybe and so on, so you pick the range that got the number of the room you got your die from and click on the right trade option, it should let you have the puzzle cube ( you can count till you reach your number)

    Hope that made sense x.x

Although I'm quite confused on how you can trade a die from room 1...since the range starts from room 2...maybe it used to happen and they changed it?
