question about purging

Ain't purge suppose to be able to remove all positive buff on a player right??? Has anyone notice that tideborn classes do not loose their self buff when all other looses all their buff when purged?

    We do lose some of our self buffs, just not all. And if we have tidal protection up purge can fail completely and we get to keep all our buffs :D

    Psy seal buffs need a cooldown that lasts as long as the buff so they can't just buff everyone and if it could be purged then it would be unfair on the psy having to wait 10 mins to buff themselves again.

    It's not really clear that making those buffs unpurgeable was intentional. The RT expansion was created by a completely brand new and inexperienced team of idiots.

    Bms archers and barbs could aready get 5 aps, just there were very few aps bms and almost no aps barbs and archers until sins started hacking and slashing everything to death and so people then decided to make their toon do that too

    SoT/Pangu = .05
    Lunar Cape = .05
    Lunar Claws = .1
    TT99 arms = .1
    TT99 HA set = .05
    TT99 LA set =.05

    that's enough for 5.0 sparked as demon :D

    Maybe he meant making it easier for classes who couldn't afford the tome. (which was only like 70mil back then rofl.)

    OnTopic. Yes some things can't be purged just like some things can't be purified as others have stated before me of examples.

    Same with Seeker's attack and defense level buffs (not even when you die). Granted their buffs are nothing compared to the OPness of the Fish buffs, but still...

    Those buffs are applied to your weapon, not your character.

    Technically, a ''disarm'' (seeker level 100 stance, BM Morai skill) should temporarily remove them, but I can't say for sure. Not that it really matters, though. b:chuckle

    i thought that that stance would remove the weapon, not the weapon buffs o.o
