The new auto fly feature is great . i love it but does anyone know of a way to turn it off/ disable it on a particular character?
My barb runs faster then my flyer and in most cases what im going to isnt too far away
any thoughts ?

Remove your aero before autopathing, then put it on once it starts.0

i really dont see the point in auto equip a flyer, when the flyer dont go in the sky..
I mean, it doesnt really matter where you use it, but most of the time you are stuck in limbo and crashing in a wall/tree/mountain whatever.
The auto flying thing is great, but why it dont go higher?0 -
Yeah the auto fly needs to fly higher over the obstacles. Usually i end up stuck against a building a tree or a wall. It's a nice little add on but a few tweaks will make it better.0

In all honesty, the auto-fly is useless if it doesn't get tweaked. You could already accomplish the same thing better with the old autopath by adjusting the height after selecting your destination. If you started on the ground and weren't on a mount, this would automatically have you fly to the height you set it to. While I appreciate the thought the devs had with this, the fact that it doesn't change elevation makes it more of an annoyance than a help.0

Yah, it ought to autoclimb by say +10 elevation each time u stuck.Old school demon tank -> LESS PEW PEW, NO Q _Q

The auto-fly its just stupid.
First, because it doesn't elevate more than 1 meter(Or whatever altitude is calculated),thus making you crashing over obstacles no less than normal walking.
Second, because it ALWAYS activate, even for very short distances. The only way to beat a troll is....to troll him back b:angry0 -
I miss the old one, were it remembered the height you wanted to fly. Resetting it all the time suck.
Yeah it does, i'm doing DQ quest on my alt while I'm grinding on my main. And having to move the bar to 70 feet again suck every time since I do it around 40 times a day xp.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

If you revert to the old UI (theres a guide on how to in the tech support subforum I think) you get your old interface back that remembers your pefered height0 -
Autofly also causes venomancer ground pets to unsummon. That's more than a little dangerous, when I'm just trying to get my bearings.0

I think the Autofly option is ***** up, i never had trouble in the past, and now you must fly when you use autopath?
Starting Clerics/Archers can't use the autopath for long because of the mana-draining wings.
Where are the good ol' days???0 -

^this
the autofly didnt bother me too much on my veno, i got used to just using a mount, manually running there, or just giving up and flying
but then i made an archer to try something new and i remembered the autofly and the fact it rapidly drains MP, and now its suddenly bothering me a lot.
i guess i could just take off the archers wings since i apparently wont be doing too much flying right now, but still, it surprises me they added this and no option to turn it off. how hard is a little tick on the options or autopath window that says something like "Automatically fly upon autopathing"
as someone else said, its kind of dangerous for venos since they have no choice but to unsummon their ground pet. plus if i need to run away quickly and i autopath theres the short moment where you go snailspeed after your flyer pops out. ugh
i didnt notice the height thing was resetting, usually because i change it every time i fly anyway, but im sure thats irritating for a lot of people too.0 -
when was this added i was on a couple weeks ago and it wasnt0
