Troubles with Whispering?

So, for a few days now I've been world chatting to recruit some squad members for things like, metal, delta, and other BH's. But it seems I haven't been able to actually SEE the whispers. My chat region is turned on. I can see whispers from Faction members and Friends only. I'm starting to get somewhat irritated and I'm extremely confused. What is going on? Someone help! I wanna be able to see whispers from random people again D;

    Did u check if they are in your BL?
    Maybe the option to see whisper is turn off on some channel.

    The people are not blacklisted. I've even deleted my boyfriend off my friends list and had him PM me after I have done that, and his PM did not go through.
    Also, my chat regions all have Whisper on.

    are your friends or faction members all above a certain lv and is your BL set to block all PMs from ppl below that lv?
    and i dont think PMs can be disabled on ANY channel apart form the little box to the side

    I don't have a certain level requirement set to see pm's. My friends and faction members are all between 1-105, So I doubt that's the problem.

    Not every one of my faction members are on my friends list. If they were, I wouldn't have space for any other friends apart from my faction. I can see their blue whispers. I cannot see anyone besides faction members, and friends.

    on the character you're posting on, or another character? Quite a while back people were having trouble with whispers due to names being blocked by the filter.

    The director of one of the factions I'm in is having this exact same problem.

    I had to friend him to get a faction invite long ago.
    101 Sage Sin*/Archer
    100 Demon BM*/Barb
    96 Demon Cleric/Sage Seeker
    95 Demon Wiz/
    94 Sage Veno
    85 Psy/80 Mystic
    And a handful of other alts, all 79 and under.
    *Pre RB level
