First Official 1v1 and 6v6 TEAM PVP tournament

After doing a Poll and questioning a few people I've concluded 6v6 is the best option as well as The following Rule set.
The official Rules are as following.

1v1

All gear allowed. All genie skills / apoth allowed. Best 2/3 advances. (Semi-Finals & Finals Best 3/5)

6v6

Depending on turn out = number of wins to advance. (Default will be same as 1v1)

"Rainbow squad only"(One of each class only)
Team name can not have any religion, nationality, sexual preference, and ethnicity in it.
(Team artwork is allowed as long as it is appropriate.)
No Genies. (Apothecary is allowed)
Predetermined gear only. (Level based gear)
Team Captain MUST record the match in case of any disputes. (Other team members can optionally as well)
Open World PvP. (Place and Time will be determined for each sets of rounds.)
Team match up will be determined by a RNG(Random-Number Generator).
Level match ups go as following.

Skill Restriction.
Assassins and Archers can not stealth longer then 30 seconds or will be DQ'd from the fight.

Entry Level 80-89
(Weapon Any Purchased NPC weapon from DWP)
(Armor Any Purchased NPC Armor set from DWP ONLY [Jin Armor(HA) / * of Havoc(LA) / * of Amethyst(AA)])
(Ornaments Any Purchased NPC Ornaments from DWP)
Refines can NOT exceed +3
Shards can NOT exceed Flawless (2 socket sharding MAX)
Middle Level 90-99
(Weapon Any Purchased NPC weapon from Heaven/Hell ONLY)
(Armor Any Purchased NPC Armor set from Heaven/Hell ONLY [Kirin Armor(HA) / * of Greatness(LA) / Dialectician's Armor(AA)])
(Ornaments Any Purchased NPC Ornaments from Heaven/Hell ONLY)
Refines can NOT exceed +3
Shards can NOT exceed Flawless (4 socket sharding allowed)
Advanced Level 100-105
(Weapon Any Purchased NPC weapon from Heaven/Hell ONLY)
(Armor Any Purchased NPC Armor set from Heaven/Hell ONLY [Kirin Armor(HA) / * of Greatness(LA) / Dialectician's Armor(AA)])
(Ornaments Any Purchased NPC Ornaments from Heaven/Hell ONLY)
Refines can NOT exceed +5
Shards can NOT exceed Immaculate (4 socket sharding allowed)

Advanced/Middle Level Tournaments get optional Wager/Non Wager Tournaments. (Entry Level is Non-Wager only).

Middle = 500k Entry Fee per member.
Advance = 1mil Entry Fee per member.
Pot is split among top 5 teams.

    Cool idea, but NPC armor fights don't work. It's whoever gets the first hit off that wins because any 2 spark skill one shots any class. Already tried it.

    Noob gear like that will not get much from refines. Example - an NPC armor'ed barb arma'ed me for 11k during my tourny.

    The Arma was an example. My BIDS hit another arcane for 7k. It hit a BM for 15k.

The 26 imacs is going to cost me 1.8k tokens. at 12k a piece... thats 22 million coins. 2 rings, 6 armor piece, 2 acc, and a weapon refine to +5. assuming average cost of 250 mirages for +5 armor and 500 for +5 weapon. you are looking at 30 million in mirage cost. over 50 million to get any 100+ character to be in "top" shape for the tourney... all for the prize money which is going to be split between at least 5 people. assuming an entry fee of 1 million each... you are going to need 250 people in my category for me to break even (single division)... that is if i win.

    edit: oh wait... i forgot the cost of socket stones.

    Go the general section and give feedback then. Positive output instead of pure criticism. I understand your point, but unless the GM's directly sponsor this event with timed gear that's pre-made with good **** in it. There is no "Cheap cost effective" method that every player could participate in where players aren't pretty much 1 shot according to mystic. Frankies already on board with the idea if we can iron out all the details and **** they might just do it.

    r8/tt99... no nirv/r9... problem solved. i don't think i have seem any 100+ that does not have access to tt99 or r8... and most of the r9/nirv should have a r8/tt99 somewhere in the bank. limit refines to +10... sucks for the dozen former +12 r8 (insert joke about hate's non existent r8). anything lower (aka tt90) will be a one shot fest for high dds. anything higher will be out of range for the 99%.

    Like I said (I think I did anyway) it's a good idea to do fun things like this, however using pure NPC based gear won't be much of a fight since I've done it before (search NPC gear PK tournament in this section) and adding in all the costs as Kiyo said is a bit off limits for a lot of people. b:surrender

    If you could get Frankie to give out temp gear or w.e is possible, you would be the first to get him to do that :o

    I'd reinstall PWI and take part in this event if it is being sponsored by GMs. My barb only has 17m and TT99+6 on him according to my wifey, not enough I guess to take part and be a "factor". But Frankie is a *****, and the GMs are incompetent. There is nothing to be gained monetary-wise on their part so they won't sponsor it. Heck if it wasn't for Chelly or Kritty, they wouldn't have a clue I made this post slagging the 8-10 strong staff off.

    Shame really ...
