Is Perfect World Safe To Download?

i am downloading perfect world right now and it is gonna take about 4 more hours i am wondering if it is safe?

    That's rather an odd question. Yes its safe to download as long as you're downloading from the official site.

    It would take about 30 seconds of research to see that the company is genuine, and then you should have an antivirus to back you up incase you sucked at research.

    Yes it's safe to download. Wether it's worth it anymore however is up to you to decide.
    I've quit excluding TW for my faction. But I still hang around to help out those who still enjoy the game under PWEs horrific handling and to have fun in the forums. b:cute
    #Shame about PWEs absolutely craptastic handling of the goons glitching. Remember kids, there's no punishment for breaking the rules here!#

    You have slow internet, wait it out.

    lol virus-wise ya its safe......

    but OVERALL NO ITS NOT SAFE.....this game will suck u and and will get u to spend way too much money just so u can catch up and be on the same page as all the people with good r8 recast or nv gear....only to realize it aint nuthin compared to r9.

    Itll take u hostage and suck u in to the point that yrs from now when u realize that free to play really means pay to win.....but i will say if ur planning to join a PvE server....u should be fine without spending any money, just join a fun family type guild thats not serious about TW...and u can have alot of fun and makes sum cool friends...

    But if u come to Lost City...be prepared to either farm mindless **** 24/7 or spend ur paycheck every week trying to keep up with all the dirty credit card swipers we got here...

    SO bottom line....ya man its safe to download...and welcome to PWI :)

    Use the torrent download from the download page. That normally goes much faster. If you need a program to download the .torrent files with you can google for one such as uTorrent.

    A: Speeds vary dependant on he time of day.
    B: Your provider may throttle your speed even further when it's busy (Which would be around now across europe and I think Americas peak would have started too).
    C: If you're using the "direct" download, be aware it isn't direct, it's a **** Pando Media Booster torrent. Which sucks in speed and additionally will not go away automatically (junkware). You'll need to manually uninstall it as it will continue to seed until you do so (Lagging you out).

    Use the real torrent or go to bed and play tomorrow morning.

    That is because you need a program that is capable of using the torrent file to download the game. Just search for uTorrent on google, and download that. The program automatically sets itself as default for torrent files, so when you click on torrent download again it will open and ask you where you wish to download the file to. I suggest desktop, so it's easy to find. :)

    That wasn't a new player. If you even checked their core connect profile you would see they already had played the game back in august.

    Why they were asking about the game even after having played it is beyond me.

    No because you will spend a hefty amount of money in the game..gl
    This game is like washing hair with shampoo... Rinse and repeat if desired.

    Well regardless of if he's a new player or not, the actual NEW players that come in and ask about the game get all those kinds of responses. While the game dying and being a money sucker is true for most people, a new person might not see it that way and will actually have fun in the lower levels where having the best of the best doesn't really matter. I know that's why I keep making alts ;O This is a good way to discourage any newbies from joining the game, and then everyone starts crying that "plvling" is what's doing it. Plvling isn't the only thing contributing.

    I wouldn't want to subject any newbies to this game anymore. It's just not worth it now.

    I really doubt a few words of sarcasm would scare off a newbie. There were plenty of legit responses.

    Nevertheless, most people were probably not taking the thread seriously due to the absurdity of the questions and behavior of the op.

    I still find it enjoyable to a point, but it's only because I have friends and I'm already set at endgame play (3 level 100 chars). Starting over fresh without charging or hating the amount of *******s in the game would be ****ing insane.

    All this place really has left for newbies is amazing character creation and very low system requirements. And the ability to play alone most of the time if that's what you really want.

    There's been plenty of threads where a newbie asks about the game and people say the "game is dead" "money pit" etc. I wasn't referring to this thread as only ONE time, but from all the threads in the past that I've seen where this happened.

    I don't have any friends left. They all quit long ago, but I enjoy talking to people in guild chat. b:sad I will say what keeps me playing IS the customization and the endless fashion ;D
