    • interval dagger for a 99 sin?

    want to know if there a better interval dagger than tt80 hook n thorn my 2 socket (have 2 immaculate garnet phy atk +32) +6 refinement at lvl99? because I cant afford vana daggers yet and Im sure no one want to help me get me one w/o +10 5.0 aps b:cryb:surrender. Also wondering if r8 dagger with 2 socket (2 immaculate garnet phy atk +32) with at least 2 refinement is better than my current dagger?

      The only daggers with -interval, in order of cost:
      Hook and Thorn
      Hitman Legend
      Barrier Thorn: Nirvana
      Dagger of the Ocean: Eon
      Dark Death Thorn

      Out of these, the last two have a chance to get -interval, the rest are guaranteed.

      Hitman Legend is roughly equal in cost to Barrier Thorn: Nirvana, plus much harder to get.

      frankly speaking, pretty much any daggers are better than Hooks past 89.
      the morai g12 dags Pixie Piercers do pretty much the same dmg as hooks, and at 99 with TT99s they both spark to the same aps anyways. but, to answer your 2nd question if r8 +2 would out dd +6 hooks
      Hook and Thorn +6
      ((9927+11957)/2)*1.3(crit%)*1.3(atk lv)*3.33 = 61578.2934

      Ocean Supreme Daggers +2
      ((11402+18275)/2)*1.33(crit%)*1.3(atk lv)*2.86= 73375.49219

      its just sad seeing any 99-100+ sin using Hooks and r8 top x.x

      Honestly, I wouldn't take you because you're using a lvl80 weapon 20 levels later. No other class does this.
      The interval isn't doing much for you at that point when higher level. slower daggers will outDD.

      @OP: if you plan to get r8 when you ding 100 (or u already have it) dont bother with other daggers for one lvl. otherwise morai or tt99 (if you dont want to lose investments in refines/shards)
      you only purge once #yopo

      b:surrender my sin is still using hook and thorn while being 100, and it just suck bad against most stuff in the bh100s.
      sot/aba, need to spark to kill a mob and it wont eb dead after the spark sometimes. delta, god i need to poke for a whiel to kill stuff. lunar take an eternity to kill something.

      so, working to get my r8 and be able to do a little more stuff then just that x.x, thats the first step you shoudl do at 100, because you keep the top for end game also

      o.o! As others have mentioned, its better to use the Morai dagz at tht point as the int on hooks don't really give tht much benefit when compared the increase in dmg from other higher grade weapons.

      b:surrender did not bother thinking i woudl nto have them for long, but ill get them, selling my hook will help for r8 anyway

      b:thanks got the pixie piercer now, and damn lol, they are doing 1k more in overall then hook. so yup, really worth getting them b:cute

      Then use those until you can get the lvl 13 NV - .1 int daggers.
      Then use those until you can upgrade to lvl 15 NV with at least - .05 int.
      And that's that, unless you plan to go for R9.

      Your Hook is refined high enough for it to be better.

      I had +6 hooks, refined the 95 morai daggers to +4 and had better damage than with the hooks. Besides that, they spark to the same thing. So I sold my hooks for like 8.5 mil and used that money to put a dent on my 100 gear. The slaying levels do make a pretty nice dent, and +4 is practically free. I definitely appreciated the boost from the morai daggers in damage.

      edit: The clean pixie pierces did not outdamage the refined hook and thorns, so if you won't refine it than it's best to use the hooks. If you are fine with refining it to like +4, you should have more damage than the hooks. And can use the money you get from selling the hooks and put it towards your rank 8.

      Have you read this thread at all?
      Hook and Thorn to 100 is (typically) no good......especially when you can get free Morai daggers at 95 that are superior.

      Not if you don't want to refine them. I've tried them both on my sage sin and I prefer my H&T even with the slightly less damage. Getting chi a little bit faster is more important to me, but to each his own.

      So i tested both on tt and fcc using morai piercing dagger clean 1 sockket with +2 refinement have the same damage as my hook n thorn 2 socket with 2 immaculate garnet and +6 refinrmnt but i choose H&T b/c of the dps and faster spark but now 30% from lvl100so dont really matter much since soon im replacing both with r8b:chuckleb:victoryb:pleased

      well, it usually goes like this:

      1)idiot A refines at +10 h+k or +12 fc (you get the idea)
      2)tries to sale, fails, so
      3a)price becomes very low
      3b)keeps it and borrows it to friends/factionmates

      actually you may add N idiots buying the daggers for what it costed but eventually you end up to 3a or b xD

      and the necessary disclaimer: never had +10 h+k or +12 frost or anything like that, just h+k+6 xD
      you only purge once #yopo
