Thanks! I noticed I didn't include that many clips of me dying, so I thought it would be a nice change, since I'm a tanky-ish sin. I really wish I recorded yesterday's tournament, because it was actually fun for once, instead of roflrolling it. In the end it was 6 v 5 in the finals room. Lots of r9 vs r9. Though one of us weren't charmed.

And this brony stuff is actually just that. Guys like me who like the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Now I know your initial reaction would be "seriously?", and the answer is no and yes.

No because I know you'll be thinking of the stereotypical My Little Ponies. For myself, I can not stand that generation. That generation is exactly what the stereotype of MLP is. Girly, poorly scripted, poorly voice acted and animated, and meant only for girls.

Yes because the MLP: FiM that I like and genuinely enjoy is the 4th generation of it, which has no connections to the other generations, other than some names of the characters. This generation is done by Lauren Faust, who is also the creator of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, her husband's the creator of Powerpuff Girls, and she's worked on other popular titles like Iron Giant and Codename: Kids Next Door.

None of this will really make any sense if you never liked Cartoons or are just out of that style, but basically Mrs. Faust just wanted to make cartoons gender-neutral. She didn't want to target only one audience/gender, and she's done that perfectly with Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home, but when she was given the task of making the next generation of My Little Pony, that was an extremely difficult task. Not only because that franchise is specifically targeted only towards little girls/children, but also because it's stereotypically known that way.

So she made what she did (all she had to work with was the toys themselves), and as it turned out, even though Hasbro (company that owns the show) is targeting the show towards its stereotypical audience, an unexpected audience showed back to her. The bronies.


So TL;DR version is: Bronies are male adults who love the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, which is the 4th generation of the show that's drastically different in terms of artwork, draw-style, animation, voice acting, and storyboard scripting. Most people hate on them because they see bronies stereotypically, which we're seen as fat, weird, creepy, child-molesting, forever-alone pedophiles. And they couldn't be more wrong.


What can I say? I'm a 20 year old male that genuinely loves that show. And the brony community is pretty awesome. All of the songs you hear in my videos, every single one of them was composed by a brony.
