Hi all
Im a few days away from getting enough prestige for the above-mentioned skill.

Just to be sure, has anyone tried it in the following cases:

- You die but use a Res scroll
- You die but you revive via a Mystc's revive buff
- You die but you revive via another Cleric's revive(lv.1 or something xD)

No loss with rez scroll either.

It's just a passive skill that prevents any kind of losing exp <3

basically i guess this means theres absolutely no penalty in dying now. and the only way to lose xp is by putting it into your genie. lol i just realized. thats actually pretty neat.

Yep, for clerics that it is.

And imo it's only fair. I got level 11 revive and noone who squads with me loses exp. So why did I have to? b:surrender

I really dont know why clerics are so happy because of this skill, unless they die in PVE, which really shouldnt happen in this game.

yet sometimes when u DC in combat or something stupid, u still die, and also, not many clerics are happy about this skill. i personally find no combat use of it, and i dont die too much so its not very useful considering how much effort it takes to farm it. but it still has its uses...

Yeah.....I don't understand the hate of this skill at all, its a very good piece of mind skill knowing that no matter what happens you wont lose exp unless you put it in a genie. Have to remember to that you can gain this skill at lvl 95. No matter how good your are at survivability there are bosses that will one shot you.

neither hate or like this skill. it is usefull yes for when u dc ect. that is if u want to lvl to 105. its not total **** but not total + either. they should add this skill at lvl 20 for clerics not 100 lol. clerics hardly die at lvl 100 in pve. it would be more usefull for a lower lvl cleric.

So with this skill I remember it requiring you to have 650 and 3000 influence. I checked yesterday and it now requires 650 rep and 3500 influence. Am I just remembering this wrong?

You didn't had checked right the 1st time.
Always has beeing required 3,500 prestige and 675 influence to purchase the book, no coins fee from order.
This is a passive skill. You need to be lv95 in order to learn it, 3m coins and 3m spirit. Aware of Vacunity cultivation (lv89 one, aka, sage-demon)

    As for the original question:

No, you don't lost experience from deaths. Doesn't matter the way you die or if you get a lv1 -10 revive, mystic or base one, if you town your toon or use a scroll.
Exp lost penalty is totally removed.

Like everyone else I do apreciate the skill and I'm going to farm for it, but I don't few that its all good. The bad thing about it is, we will lose things like the exitement, struggle and challenge of having to stay alive to avoid the penalty of losing xp.

I still have vivid memory of the strugle to stay alive and heal like mad when pole/nob were both lured out at the same time, and the challenge of healing in eden during the first or 2nd yr.

Imo, its emotions such as these that demanded and extracted alot of energy out of me. Its from these experience that I strive to be better, and its things like this that made me improve alot as a cleric.

I've never really cared about my own exp, even if I've been grinding for 5 hours straight on DQ mobs. Just so long as everyone lives.

Having this would just give me a little more peace of mind if something were to go wrong (like everyone spontaneously combusting), but otherwise it won't change the way I currently play my cleric and I'd still do my darnedest not to die.

It also means I can show off for all the little clerics and when I die, I can let them res me all they want. Rez practice. <3

I love the skill. I hate losing xp. And resent the PWI people for dragging their feet doing something to help clerics level. Still hate them for it. Clerics are not treated well in this game. Everybody just lies there and waits for you to run back and rez them so they can save their xp and while yours is lost forever. Hate them for that. HATE.

I do feel inclined to play cleric more now. Sad part is that most clerics I've been running with lately deserve to die / lose xp:

Chromaspammers - learn your other skills dammit; and that doesn't mean BB!

Over healers - learn aggro dynamics, and mp conservation, and sometimes dd and debuff if BP is working!

I have to agree with this--it was just what I was thinking. And it's not being
smug or bragging or anything. It's just that, for me, it's not very useful at all
as I can't remember the last time I died in PVE. And I do nv runs, bh's, the
    whole nine yards.

Plus I'm lvl 103 (took me over 3 years to get there), and I don't have any great
aspirations to get to 104. That said . . .

I WOULD HAVE KILLED FOR THIS SKILL AT LOWER LEVELS!!!

As another poster said, it would be so much better if this skill was available
early on, instead of at end-game time.

I'm looking forward to getting this skill just for aoe grinding. Just to see how many mobs I can gather and setting records for myself to beat and practice different ways to do it. Also would be fun to work on ways to beat different bosses. Gonna be fun:)

A cleric lost 16% in Lunar BH today because of the idiot BM leader who couldn't control himself. Partly her fault for reviving him before boss was killed, but the point is that the game is changing. We can't rely on how bosses used to respond, or how new ones will.

I have this skill and the other day we did an experiment in Delta..two of us stayed behind after finishing our bh. We played with the mobs and of course kept dying. I would revive my partner (he did not lose exp) but i lost almost a whole precentage point. Either my Ancestors Blessing is faulty or the game has a glitch they need to address. If anyone else is having this problem, we need to bring it to the attention of PWI so that they can fix the error.
