Just make Jones' and O'Malley's blessings permanent in-game? They've become standard for most players, and the system that sends them to characters seems to mess up every other week, so why not just make them available from an NPC in-game or remove the timer from the blessing? b:puzzled

    Because then they wouldn't have the publicity from people liking their game on FB.

    I think anyway majority have a fake facebook account for it or directly delete it on their facebook (you can delete the ''post'' saying you got a bless) So im not even sure there's 1 person who join the game cause saw his friends got a bless box in a game and they prolly have no clue what is the game anyway. I always though they should make it permanant.

    Mankind is lazy. Unless prompted to do something, they most likely won't. If it involves a personal advantage however, it will be done.

    And yea, many people have fake accounts. Hell, I can't stand FB and the only thing I use my account for is my O'malleys. No friends, no info, nothing.
    But there's enough people to make it worth it, it seems.

    Coca Cola as a facebook page has a little over 41 million likes. Now at first that may seem like a lot. But when you consider that they made 31 BILLION dollars in 2010, and had 20 million customer outlets (that doesn't even include vending machines btw) that's only like 2 likes per outlet. That means of all the people going in and out of McDonalds who love coca-cola and have been satisfied by that product for over a century, only like 2 of them per outlet bothered to find them on facebook and click like. And Coca-cola spends millions of dollars on advertisement.

    And of those 41 million people? Only about 200k of them are actually actively talking about the product and spreading the good product on facebook through word of mouth.


    Clearly there needs to be some kind of incentive given to people to click like if you want them to help spread marketing on facebook. It really doesn't say anything about the quality of the product.

    I think PWI promote more Facebook than Facebook promote PWI, some people didnt had Facebook and created a account just to get the bless, so if someone dont want facebook he is disavantaged on the other players so he need make a FB account, Ill love to know how many people started play PWI only base on the fact they see a friend like it on FB.

    The only ''good thing'' is they can continu to say if they got 500k like they gonna make a 2x for a week etc... people always want 2x so they will go like just for it.

    I don't need a blessing to be able to play the game, I can play the game just fine without one on all my chars b:chuckle

    I don't have a FB account (never had one) and for for the reason stated above: I will never ever create one to just obtain said blessing.

    In short: I see no reason to implement OP's suggestion.

    Of course this also mean you will never know what 30% extra damage or 15% extra damage WITH a 15% decrease to damage taken at all times will feel like.

    No you don't need blessings to play this game, it just makes it easier.

    i always have facebook open so i can delete my post, but one time my timeline wasnt giving me the option to hide it... so i deleted my facebook for like 10 minutes and restarted my computer. it aint easy bein a closet nerd. its just life.

    There is an option to set the post up where only you see it and don't have to hurry up and delete before someone else sees.
