whats the difference in prices?0

depends on your server cost. average is 25mil for TT (after getting the tt90 as well) and 30-40mil for Lunar. then making it into nirvana costs the same of 250 cannies. if you plan on selling it get lunar. otherwise get TT.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] for GD Onion 2012 b:victory0

i see.. cool, thanks. i was just wondering cause some people got it and were talking about stats and all that but if I'm gonna pay 15 mil extra for a "slight" increase I'm definitely not gonna do it, could probably spend it on something better0

I'm assuming you mean nirvana leggings here.
TT: has lower defensive stats (about 200 less p.def and 300 m.def), but has a +4% magic and physical defense stat which works similar to a cleric/BM buff (with a cleric's buff it will stack into +64% m/p.def).
Lunar: Has higher defensive stats and gives a tiny bit more HP (since it has +180 hp instead of the +10 vit the TT leggings have).
If you get full nirvana armor and have high refines on your ornaments/rings, then the combined +16% defense stats from TT will roughly outweigh the lack of regular defensive stats compared to Lunar, but if you're just getting one part then lunar would be considerably better.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Lunars raw 180hp vs TTs 10 vit (130hp + little bit of pdef and mdef bonuse) = not worth mentioning.
TTs 4% overall when stacked with buffs beats the raw defense variance of lunars 192pdef/299mdef higher.
For the sake of PWcalc purposes. i used only +5 on ornaments for the defense example.
http://pwcalc.com/4c13791c0e08d440 = 9371 pdef 6325mdef using lunar legs
http://pwcalc.com/63ec3b85639c09e6 = 9049 pdef 6013mdef using TT legs however add 4% and..
9403 pdef and 6254 mdef. difference becomes almost insignificant now once you refine the ornaments higher TT clearly wins.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] for GD Onion 2012 b:victory0 -

Don't forget that the 192/299 def from lunar also gets affected by any defensive buffs, making the difference even bigger.
Look at these two builds that I stole from some random thread here:
TT
Lunar
Just a difference in the leggings and lunar wins in both defense and HP.
Lunar might cost you around 15m more, but the defense difference there is about the same as an extra refine on your ornaments. Which one do you think would be cheaper?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
I used buffs on that calculater..... and no it doesnt get higher TT will still beat out lunar[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] for GD Onion 2012 b:victory0

Don't know which calc you're looking at then, both the ones that you posted as well as mine show that lunar has higher stats than TT when fully buffed (as well as unbuffed when you have average ornament refines).
Whether or not it's actually worth the extra money is for the OP to decide.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

ofc the hat design looks way cooler for lunar nirvana.

you do realize.. it doesnt add in the 4% defense in the stats just like a 1% damage reduction..... you have to add it yourself as a mental note.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] for GD Onion 2012 b:victory0 -
Buffs don't affect the 4% adds the TT nirvana has. The 4% is only applied to the gear value (meaning the gain isn't amplified by buffs), whereas buffs are given based on gear value.
TT doesn't beat Lunar Nirvana until ornaments are refined to the +11 refinement.
Other than that Lunar Nirvana is superior than TT Nirvana.[SIGPIC]Octavia is best pony[/SIGPIC]

Lunar has 33% higher base defenses. Because of this it responds better to buffs. Lunar is typically better until +11 refines. It does cost about 15mil more to make but is tradable.
TT has a 4% add that mostly is multiplied by your ornaments and rings. If you are using 2 x phys rings and 2 x physical ornies than TT is worse until ~+11 refines when it becomes better defensively. If you are using a magic ornament or CoA ring the Lunar remains better. The nice thing about TT is if you get debuffed it doesn't affect the 4% defense add, so you retain a little more defense when debuffed. This is opposite Lunar, which gets harder by debuffs but grows more from buffs.
I went Lunar.Seven 100+ characters leveled the hard way. Free to play. Mystic, Psychic, and Wizard left to level. b:victory0 -
yes lunar ends up having better stats

Lunar is better, except a few rather unlikely situations. Well, I do like the 4% of TT that doesn't get crushed by debuffs, but on 1 armor part it's rather insignificant. On my barb/bm, where I have 4 parts (only counting the 4 armor parts cause helmet and cape are same in both versions), it does make a noticeble difference.
The difference between both is pretty small though, so I think the choice is not really based on the defence differences. I think most that go Lunar nirvana do it because it doesn't bind, and most that go for TT do it because it's easier to get (and a little cheaper).
I went TT because I had TT90 gold helmet and I could easily get the mats for leggings. I didn't look more into it at that time then just a global "it's about the same".0 -
Now that we have statistics out of the way......
TT Nirv legs are ugly.
Lunar Nirv legs look quite nice.
Now the OP can make his/her decision.0 -
*Aside from all that was mentioned before which clearly stated the facts*
TT is much sexier than lunar o.o

TT leggings with the +4% def stat
TT leggings without the +4% def stat
So... nope.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
