Problem installing Perfect World

I download the installer, run it, and as it runs it says something about "Bugsplat.dll" I have no idea what this is.
The exact message is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Pando Networks\Media Booster\BugSplat.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support."
I've already tried redownloading the installer but it did not help.

Is that safe and legal (I heard it wasn't) and can I remove it when I'm done with the download?0

Torrenting is perfectly legal. It's just that it's also a good medium for some not-so legit activities that gives it a bad name.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

Are you SURE torrenting is faster? :x I just downloaded uTorrent.
I'm trying to torrent the PWI file right now, but it says it will take 1 day and 4 hours to complete
That's definitely MUCH longer. Am I doing something wrong? I really want to play PWI, but nothing's working for me right now. I even waited 5 hours for the normal install and that didn't work either.0 -
Your experience with either download is going to be relative to the speed of your internet connection and how your computer is connected on your local network. The torrent method has been proven to be faster and more stable though.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

The direct download still takes only about 4-5 hours for me. But it doesn't work, so that doesn't matter.
I'm using a wireless connection. It's pretty fast as far as I'm aware. Torrenting still takes around 7-8 hours.0 -

Your wireless is going to have a large impact on your download speed with files of this size. You could probably cut your download time in half by switching to a wired connection. Torrents perform extremely poorly over wireless, so that could increase 4 or 5 times faster than it is now.
It has a lot to do with the way the wireless data is transmitted and the small amount of memory overhead for it in your router.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Even though this has nothing to do with the OP's problem, and you should have started a new thread. Or even the fact that if you had searched the forum just a little bit you would have found about 300 threads on this that have already been answered. I will go ahead and answer it anyway....
Go to the directory you downloaded the install files to and run install.exe.
(The link above would have been your #1 answer before posting, and has the answer to your question within it. Next time use the search feature so you don't waste our time.)
Edit: I even updated my signature pic just for you.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

There is little to none difference between wireless and wired connection these days. I'm talking difference between connecting wireless and wired to ADSL or similar connection, mobile (3G, 4G) is something completely different.
I'm sitting 30cm from my router but still i'm using wireless connection. Difference in download speed of PWI between Torrent and Direct is 0 (zero).
And since is taking them more than 4hours to download game, there is little chance that they're having more than 4-6Mbits connection. Wireless speed on most routers is 54Mbits, way more than they actually need (or should I say, way more than they native internet connection speed).0 -
Depends on the router. A lot of Linksys routers, and the "free" router that comes with your internet don't have enough memory overhead to actually support full bandwidth. This is why I say that the majority of the people will have a better experience using wired. Most of the routers will start dropping wireless packets when there's heavy streaming or a decent torrent connection. Especially if there's any kind of activity on the wired network.
with wireless, there are many factors that can interfere with data transmission. With wired, there are very few. That's why it's better to go wired is just about any situation.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0
