Ive Been trying to find the answer to this for a while now. Searching like crazy. Even on the forum. Just out of curiosity. What is the most Oldest Server on Pwi In Na. Starting from the oldest to newest.

I really want to know xD Please don't just say ur server is the oldest or newest just cuz u play on it. Be truth full plz.

    {Heavens Tear} was the oldest (PvE) in NA, as I seem to recall....b:victory

    And {Lost City} for PvP.......



    Maybe Frankie, will Post on this thread for ya, and give ya an Elaborate listing of Times for ya......

    pretty sure harshlands is since i started pwi 2 months after it came out an i was there

    well i thought harshlands came with dreamweaver same time and lost with heavens tear

    Then I was thinking Archosaur was the oldest then i had thoughts about heavens tear as well. Then thought that lost and heavens tear came at same time so that couldnt be right? o.O

    arch is one of the newer ones i dont remeber when heavens tear came out an yeah im pretty sure harsh an dw came at the same time so they had 1 pvp an 1 pve

    i guess adding a pvp and pve would make sence. If that is the case then there was 2 servers at the start of when the game was released. Which would make me feel it was lost and heavens tear.

    im not sure but i know at lease two months after it was out i was playing on harshlands XD

    Well on Dream Weaver its MiauCloud not very high lvl. But on Sanctuary my name is also MiauCloud lvl 77 mystic and ArticLeaf on Sanc :). I might just get on dw right now to check whats going on adn the prices and things lol

    I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that the oldest server is Etherblade. It was used for the Closed Beta, and is now just used by the GMs and QA testers to check out new patches before they go live.b:victory

    The oldest servers that have players on them are Sanctuary and Lost City, from what I know.

    HT and LC were the first two servers to be opened to general play.

    (We are still waiting to see any improvements or changes beign implemented. More empty promises from PWI?)

    Seeing how many bugs creeps ups with each new patch, I doubt this is true.....

    Otherwise, they should hire competent "quality testers", because the ones they have now apparently misses almost every new bugs included with the patches.b:surrender

    Didn't the closed beta have both a PvE and PvP server? It's so long ago that I can't really remember, but I think it was just HT and LC even back then.

    I do remember an Etherblade server showing up in the patcher, but it always showed as offline.

    Etherblade is used for testing huh... I remember a gm once mentioned in game about a test server but I never took it seriously due to the quality of some of the patches. Always assumed etherblade was simply ht/lc renamed.
    Anyways, sanc is not as old as ht is. That was the third server to be released (not counting etherblade).

    OK, So I decided to do us all a little favor, and started to do a little 'Thread Diving' through the Old {Dead & Ancient~Threads} Parts of the (FORUMs Archives) early this morning....b:spitb:cry


    And here's what I found, in the 'Oldest Threads' about the servers, that I could find:

    Apparently, the Original 4 that were supposed to be released, were originally:



    {WEST COAST}~~~~~~~{EAST COAST}

    Etherblade (PvP)...............Lost City (PvP)
    Plume City (PvE)..............Heavens Tear (PvE)



    Out of which:


    {Etherblade} ~ Was Made a 'Closed Circuit' (Testing) server "For the ADMIN's Groups.".......

    {Plume City} ~ Was apparently, Gotten Rid of Entirely....

    AND

    {Heavens Tear} & {Lost City} ~ Who Were Both Apparently, Switched to their current, DeFacto (General Use)~Server Position's, and then were eventually 'Switched Over' to the (WEST COAST) Server status, "That they still hold, to this Very day." Instead of their original Openings, as (EAST COAST) Server's.........b:victory


    So there we go, thats the (Best Data) that I could find for us, on the (Earliest Server) info......b:faint


    b:sweat___Though I Still Hope that (Frankie & the ADMINs) will Post a more Elaborate ~Timeline~"On the servers Ages, for us." on this thread, "Since they will have alot better data on it, then what we can get on it 'Off of the FORUMs'.....


    PS: Mind you, that both those 'Old Threads' were Roughly Made, about (1 Month) B4 I joined the game to play it, "Rather then just watching my brother, explain its (User Interface & Showing me the original '3 Races' and the 'Map') too me... As he played it, before hand......

    Impossible. LC and HT came out in September and HL and DW came out the same time 6 months later in March.

    Being one of the original beta testers i can say this is about as close as it gets. Etherblade was the first. Then, I remember not enough people on Plume City Server (was a connecting problem) so after the first 2 weeks it was dumped pretty much and we just had Lost and HT and Sanct. After beta was done Lost and HT became the PVP servers and Sanctuary was PVE.
    !Oh yeah!! I'm that old school.

    He's right. LC and HT was the only servers in 2008.
