ok so iv been playing this game for some while now and for some reason i am yet to have a 5aps sin to farm nirvana and what not.
the only thing i farm is DQ.
any other way i can make money?
( my gear sucks running around with hh90 green and lvl 60 rank chest)
i try to do bh100 but no one stays after they see my gearb:surrenderb:surrender

Uhhh...
Have your faction do some damn TT3-3 with you so you can farm some TT99 stuff? Put the effort into refining and sharding your gear properly? You don't NEED to be 5.0. But if you have good refines and you are 2.86 or so, people will possibly, depending on server and squad, say 'meh' and just let it slide.
Personally, IDGAS if I squad with a 2.0 sparked no refine 2k HP sin. But I can tank and solo most things on my BM or my Sin, so really it doesn't matter to me that much. If you die from AOE, either you're gonna have to run back, or cleric will have to rez.
And somehow, in Nirvana tonight, I ended up tanking second boss on my BM. b:shocked Dunno how that happened.101 Sage Sin*/Archer

im the leader of my faction and its just mainly lowbies who i help...so 3-3 is out of the question.
my gears are full +3 refines so its not too bad and my wep is hook and thorn +5 so its not too bad but these days no one takes you to NV if your not 4aps+.

Eh, depending on the server, you can find people who will.
I stopped running low level BH's because of ingrates. But, sometimes when 2x is off, I'll participate in non-aps, non-talisman caster friendly nirvana.
A +5 hook is like... a -2 nirvana dagger. I actually liked the DPS from the TT90 daggers better than Hooks, but... I am a Sage Sin, and not Demon, so I didn't get, well, any APS benefit from going Hooks anyway. 1.82 was 1.82, and 2.0 was barely any different at that point.

The problem with the idea that nirvana is the best money making instance is that it's only true for endgame geared people. "The best way to make coin is with a 5aps +12 sin".....welllll, yeah...... sins don't magically hit 5aps at level 100 and start spewing raptures out every **** (unless they magically charge a bunch of zen).
There are at least a bajillion threads on this very topic, I vaguely remember ranting in a few of them at one point or another.
My advice for OP specifically would be to get a real chest armor for starters. The lvl 60 rank chest is just useful for it's -interval stat, which is not useful at all if you can't stay alive to actually attack anyway. The biggest single factor in your defense is your chest armor, wearing a lvl 60 gear into a lvl 99+ instance is basically suicide. Even a 100k coin mold piece would serve you better. It's really hard to make coin in this game if you are the highest level in your faction and your time playing mainly consists of helping lowbies, not saying you should stop helping people, just telling the truth. If you play for fun and to help people, don't worry about having the best gear, just work towards having something usable.
Stuff to do for coin other than nirvana and tt: cube; all the weekly events like tiger, coa, jungle ruins (just for the bounty hunter reward quests if nothing else), delta, and of course merchanting......See, I can hyper a nub up like the rest of yas!0 -

Well you are on a pvp server so I am guessing people are more picky on gear then on pve servers.
But there are still a few things you could do.
For one if you know what you are doing you could run the cube that doesn't take that great gear and could make you some money like that.
You can also try merchanting a bit that doesn't take much effort and anyone can do it.
And you should just keep farming dqs and improving your gear over time.
If you are patient this should work for you0 -

Why are you still using hooks at level 101? There is no point in the APS if the entirety of it is coming from armor 40 and 20 levels below you respectively. Use the money from your DQ to upgrade to the 90/99 rank top (which also has int) until you can get rank 8. Get better daggers. You don't have to be uber geared, but if you can't afford APS at least get yourself some gear that is decent for your level and work your way up. I suspect that if you refine the new morai daggers to +5 and throw a shard in there, and combine them with Jones you'd be hitting harder than the hooks anyway. And the morai daggers are free. Farm in heaven/hell. Merchant. There are definitely things you can do, but wearing level 60 armor at 101 would just lead me to believe you don't know what you're doing.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Farm more DQ's it's old I know but it's a good source of income, you might also want to farm herbs/mats to make some additional money
And yes get higher rank even if you don't get to 5 aps the r6 top (lvl 90) is much better than the 60 but still keep working to get to r8 because it's that much better. Once you get the rep for r8 you can also get the r8 daggers which will help you alot even without interval they still deal alot of damage +5's do the same damage as +8 or 9 g13 nirvana's so they will really help you doing bhs and things.
Set up an alt account and merchant the things you farm instead of selling them to merchants you'll make more money that way as well. (if your pc can't handle duel logging then just try and merchant while you are not active)
1st step get r8
2nd step get tt99 wrists
3rd step get tt99 boots
4th step welcome to nirvana farming
It won't be easy, but it's worth it. I would also encourage you to take the coin you are making farming/merchanting and turning it into gold (when gold is cheap of course my server it's running 1.2 mil right now) once you have a fair amount of gold you can get cs items that you can merchant to make even more profit, but becareful on that front do some research on what is good and what is risky (like packs)

For end game gear I suggest you to do Morai daily quests. It'll take 2 months or so but at least its poor man's r9 equivalent. Otherwise make a new character who doesn't need aps for majority of squads.0
