So 2X doesnt apply to bosses like GBA uh?

Ok so this is the deal, just Killed it l 10 times still will drop only 1 GBA or 2 at most.. one time it didnt drop any GBA at all .. so yeah 2x on this boss My *** b:bye watta buncho scumbaggery

    NO, 2x doesn't work the way you are describing it.

    edit: And yes, sometimes people get 7 items. This is because some mobs (like the spiders clerics like to grind on near avalanche village ) have a chance to drop one additional items. I don't know if the second counter also runs the additional drop table, but under that circumstance the max drops possible would be 8. A counter of 3 + 1 additional drop.

    And how come other bosses in the same instance actually Do drop more greens than in 1x , i mean it's clearly noticeable the difference, so why in GBA boss it's no difference at freaking all?

    GBA boss already had a lame low drop rate during normal rates. At 2x, it only becomes slightly more noticeable to get. You are lucky to see 2 or more drop from my experiences.

    Does 2x drop work in PvP too? So if you kill a guy and he's supposed to drop something, does he drop two things instead?? b:chuckle

    from http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/mob/14764 chance for gba to drop is 9.5238, since the boss drops 9 items, real chacne is 59.3735% chacne during non 2x to drop at least one, during 2x, boss can drop 18 items instead so
    (1-(1-.095238)^18)100% = (1-(1-.593735)^2)*100% = 83.49% chance to drop at least one so the fact you got 1 or 2 gba ea time is preaty much the average
    full 3r9 +11/12 (still using immac shards though) w/o CSing, leveled to 105 spaming pv, yes i have no life =D

And i just came from the damage per second thread, and ya the OP(of that thread) made me lose a little faith in people's understanding of math on these forums.

    So you know how drop rate works..and are a math wizard, however Will that make the boss actually drop better? No right? If you were as intelligent as your bragging you would understand that my post is about how lame the people in charge of the game is trying to make 'intelligent' people like you believe that drop rate 'works' and that it' is not a complete elaborate bs nerf to that boss amongs others in TT/vana/ etc . How intelligent are you really? haha .. when your going i've already brought you a souvenir, learn to read the toughts behind, not just the words in front . There u go, abit of my energy dedicated to you, cuz at the end we are all the same junky junk.

    Look, i just look at the math, if the drop rates are close to that idc if they did some secret nerf or w/e b.s. This is a game they can preaty much do w/e the ** they want with it, one reason i never put cash into it, just saying that your ARE getting average drops for 2x and saying why, if you dont belive me w/e, also when they hell did i say i was intelligent? I spend a good chunk of my time sitting in front of a computer playing a vedio game and arguing/talking on the forums and i cant spell half my word right...that seem intelligent to you?
