I saw the update for the gm bodyguards and it got me thinking, it sucks for anyone not able to pay for a gm body guard.

so i thought, what about making a small guild for anyone who wants to protect lower level characters.

say at a certain lvl maybe around 79+, you talk to a NPC with the option to join a ''defenders guild''

you can sell your services for a in game price, IE: coins, or for free. player can display there status. similar to the player info, but it also displays their hp/mp demon/sage staus and success rate etc.

Defenders could be hired to acconpany you with quests without aborbing ex or spirit, but will be treated as being in a sub squad with the person/people they are defending for the sake of buffs and mobs to kill.

Defenders can also get a rating from people they help, this will determind if this person is worth their price, helps you at all, and how skilled they are etc.

defenders who violate their oaths by stealings money, taking payment without providing services. Pking innocent players etc will forced to reconsile with the npc guild master if they wish to continue being Defenders. multiple violation will have them kicked out for good, -or- for a LOOOONG redemtion process.

defenders will also get a npc coin payments from the guild for helping other players in their task. and as they score in rank via their succesfull jobs and/or rating from clients, they will acend in guild rank which will give them access to stronger and more powerful ANTI-PK and / or mob slaying gear.

players wanting to employ the defenders will be able to choose between volunteer/free players, and profesinal/price range players.

another guild or prehaps extra option for the defenders would be an Avengers guild or Avenging list for Defenders. it might work similar to auction house. Players who have been wronged/pked by other can go to the Avenger NPC, which can display a recorded list of those who have PKed them. and put a hit out on the person who pked them.

For safety purposes, the "hit List" could show players the level, gear, hp/mp sage/demon status of the PKer and how many people they pk with success and how often. Avengers do not need to enter pvp/pk status to avenge. Pkers can also have multiple hits on their head at one time but group Avengers will not benefit from killing their pker in a squad. it functions the same as a oracle quest, who ever does the most damage gets the kill.

if the Avenger is successful, he will -not- be listed as a pker, or as if having killed any one. IF in the event that the avenger does pk anyone not on the avenger's list of hits. s/he will have terminated his remaining hits, and those said hits will return the the NPC AVEnger's hit list. being vicorious in pvp however will into effect this in any way. Once the Pker is dead, the Avenger player will get a token item known as "Head of <player's name>" to turn into the Avenger NPC for his/her reward.

IF the Avenger loses to the pker s/he may chose to trash the hit or continue on and try again. and forfit hits will be returned to the NPC Avenger's hit list to be picked up by other avenger Players. Avengers can Also purchase gear to help their in their pursiut of justice againest pkers. but the effects only work when fighting AGAINEST PKERS, they have no benefit in pvp or hunting/grinding.

thoughts and improvisions welcomed

I am gona do that anyway, but I figured this would make it more fool proof.

well i thought about that, but i realised thats a bit more complicated. you could have some guy, (lets call him Noobslayer) pk some kid (we'll call him lil_newb) , then when Lil_newb gets revenge. the Noobslayer could come whine to us and we go kill Lil_newb who avenged himself.

then I could have someone in my faction who is a pker for fun claiming to stop pkers.

I figured this idea would make my protection faction more effective and easier to manage.

    keep the comments coming
