Hey guys! Seeing that most seekers LOVE Yataghan Vortex, i was wondering if that just leaves Edged Blur out of the picture. I am new to playing a Seeker and would like it if some of the higher experienced, more respected seekers would tell me what Edged blur is mainly used/good for.

Thanks in advance for replies! b:victory

    Mainly PVP... to knock retreating Sins out of Stealth or to cause them to accumulate damage when they have you stun locked (since Edged Blur still works even when stunned). The reason why its not used much in PVE is because the 2 sparks it costs would be better kept for Vortex which has much higher damage and can stay up indefinitely providing you have mana.

    Edged blur doesn't generate agro either ;) so if you're tanking in pve, it's no good for those 2 sparks D:

    Edged Blur> Vortex for Pvp. Get some one immobilized inside it.

    Its a buff so it doesnt stop when you get stunned in any of the already mentioned ways.
    you can cast and move while its up. Idk there are more reasons i chose it, its still a very situational skill though and a very good one.

    I would say (after seeking some decent seekers using it in pk) there both equally as good, however i do think vortex would be the superior choice in making people panic and blow cooldowns.

    AeonChild on Archosaur uses a pretty mean combo for an all out something like;

    Battousai > Sage Spark > Chi Pot + Ice Occlett > Edged Blur > Heartseeker > Ion Spike > Battousai.

    it wreaks people who don't know how to stop it, I've seen her take down a fully Jaded +12 ect ect Seeker before and shes only half the gear he was (about equal to my gears but better gemmed) and there's no way in hell i think i could kill him.

    All in all i think there's no "best" choice when it comes to using your sparks, it depends on the player preference and who there fighting at the time.

    The combo above would cause a helluva lot of magic damage indeed but it's effectiveness is dependent on people simply not running away (I could actually picture a few arrogant R9 Seekers standing their ground) upon seeing her sage spark. :)

    Yea it is completely dependent on her Ice hitting and them not ADing / metal immune or resisting it in some form.
