Log-in music causes suicide

seriously the song in the log-in/character customisation screen makes me want to cry. WHO CHOSE IT WHY. It was much better without the guy singing over it and the chorus...just no. I don't want to hear this every time i log in or create characters

    Just delete the song from your pw folder

    Perfect World International\element\music - find the song - delete - done

    Even better:
    - Copy the file name
    - Delete that *** thing
    - Pick a music you like
    - Copy/Paste and rename as the same as the music you just rid off

    Or a less damaging option turn the in-game music off. All the PWI game music gets boring for me and have the time would stop playing or cut in and out. So I turned off in-game music a long time ago b:victory

    The damned file is theme_a.mp3 and theme_b* in element\music

    The other them_c is also from login screen

    Off course modifing the game files its against the TOS

    In fact Im not doing it for real...
    ....

    Unfortunately that doesn't always stop the start up song from playing for some reason.

    Only way to be 100% safe from that god awful song randomly coming on is to delete it. I usually have my speakers turned so low as to almost be off anyway, so I haven't bothered.

    I assume it's legal (aka doesn't count as editing the game files) to delete it.

    Haven't you heard violating the TOS don't matter...just look at all the 105s this game has!!!

    Funny I've had people cry cuz the song was so beautiful but not cry cuz it was bad -,- guess it depends on tastes. My faction is an Anime faction and being that this is an asian game the song was one of the things I can say they did right :))) But sadly there is a lot of people who disagree .. western style culture ftl :/ ....b:cry

    This was pwi's theme song when it first started, most of the old time players probably love this song as it takes us back to the good old days :) The good old days when pwi was so young and innocent, everyone working together and helping one another, helping low lvls with fb's, grinding to level, trying to get into fbs to get xp, the community was beautiful. Ah the good old days. b:cute

    so if you can modify music.thennnnn WOOOOOT you can proceed to modify other junk as well.
    This game is like washing hair with shampoo... Rinse and repeat if desired.

    YESSSSSSSSSSSSS this one is the one i liked!!!!! reminds me of the old days.

    Btw, to the other comment about odl players, i've been playing around 3-3 and a half years now so i was around but i still hate it

    You know, you do have an option of turning off the music if it bothers you. You can also express opinions in a better manner on a public forum. Because of the nature of your message, and since people have been discussing game file editing/deleting I'll close the topic.
