Marriage Quest Fail

I did a search and came across a CLOSED thread, so I'm opening a new one cause I want this issue FIXED!!

Marriage quest failing due to random dc. So either fix the quest to where it gives you a couple of minutes to re-log. If you only give us a minute to re-log (which was suggested in the closed thread) that is a too short of time. My computer is slow, it takes me a minute just to load the character screen! So I suggest like 3-5 minutes to re-log. If they can't fix it to do that, then fix it to where we can go back and get the quest again!!!! This is the stupidest thing I've seen! All or most of the other quests in the game you can trash and go pick up again! So why not this quest?!

I paid REAL money to be able to do these quests, the most they can do is freaking make sure that it works properly. And this isn't a recent issues; this has been going on since at least 2009!!! Pretty sad PWI...3 years and the issue STILL isn't fixed b:irritated b:angry

Maybe it's time to start working on it again? Cant complain about lack of technology now...

    The quest is designed to reward you for commitment to your partner. Just like in real life, if you're doing something very special and intimate with your spouse, you don't get rewarded for something unexpected happening.

    And, yes, there are other quests which auto-fail if you disconnect or your squad make-up changes. You just don't do those every day, so you don't notice.

    Helpful hint: Hit Ctrl-F9 during MQ and make sure the lead's the one with the more stable game. If you get lucky, if the lead reinvites the other after a disconnect, you can continue the quest.

    Fintan, that is not real life, thats a game. And we pay enough for the freaking packs, the quests shouldnt bug (fail) when one of the partners have crappy internet. In my case, its my hubbie who dc a lot or his game closes. Its frustrating that our quest fail each time, and I do agree with ChuSumWood that this should be fixed.

    It must not be that hard to make it as a daily quest, where you can only take it once a day, but doesnt fail of someone dc's.

    This works for me. I've done hundreds of marriage quests (the thrill of being married on four characters b:cute) and have only ever had the quest fail if the squad leader DCed. I've DCed plenty of times when not lead and have had my spouses do the same and it's never failed the quest for us - only when the lead DC's does it fail it.
