no mouse cursor in LOGIN screen

like the title, my mouse cursor is not visible when i'm in the login screen.

-i'll click the pw icon on my desktop
-wait for everything to load
-click play
-wait for everything to load

then when the "update" pop up screen shows, my mouse disappears - it's not visible.

i've looked through some of the forums, but all the issues pertaining to the no visiblity of the mouse is IN GAME. (i'm not even logged in, and the mouse is gone)

i have not played pw for about a year now, and am trying to play again. i've already restarted pc twice, installed twice, uninstalled once, verified once (both "patches").

anyone know how to solve this issue?

    My GF seems to be having the same problem. I can't seem to get her mouse cursor to show up in full screen mode no matter what I do. The only way it shows up now is if she plays in windowed mode. Hope that helps until maybe one of the patches fixes the issue.

    thank you! the first option worked for me. i didn't expect the mouse trail to make such a difference.

    I have disabled everything you guys are talking about, i have gotten to charater creation only because i watch when things light up, any other help would be lovely i really want to play this game

    try clicking the right mouse button . That worked for me a while back.
