So whats the game like today?

Hey all, I was just wondering if I should try out the game how it is now. I quit a long while back when they legalized open pk in Secret Passage and when power-lvling started to sprout. But I recently noticed this new (well maybe not new to you) expansion and was wondering if its still worth coming back to. Has the game changed at all for the better? Or is it still in the "soon to be dead" list of games?

PS I've read about the new expansion and seen the trailers which looks awesome but has it really benefited the game overall?

    It's still on the soon to be dead list. I came back around Jan of this year (took a year and a half break) and it just got worse.

    I came back after being gone for two years. Seems almost exactly the same as back then except sin has replaced veno as dominant solo class. So yeah if the game hasn't died yet it's not going to anytime soon.

    I joined the game in 2010. Back then the starter cities were still bustling with people and the open map... particularly around the early to mid level questing areas... was never as desolate as it is now. So I'm at a loss to understand how anyone can claim the game is "almost exactly" the same now as it was back then.

    the new pwi ppl dont quest we are in bh ff and bh ff.

    no new players come in or very few and if they wish to quest they will find its calmly as non will ks for non quest anymore.

    ppl just keep making alts and plvl to 100 that is how the game is now

    sin killed not only venos but the whole feeling of mmo when they can solo and do it better then a party.

    not only is sin broken class in pve but also a broken class in pvp so idk what or why ppl make anything but sin wish is what it is modtly plated.

    love to hear ppl wc for barb for bh100 or ep and i never care to help them why becouse its everyone foult this game is how it is.

    becouse a mmo need many classes yet it feel like all are making fishes wish in turn mean non make barb or ep or other needed classes and then dare qq there is no barb or ep to be found.


    i call the current pwi a singel game with multy player instead of a mmo becouse the mindset of the ppl is horrible.

    if your a old player from when ppl did quest and when all classes hade a purpose do not come back to the current mmo as you wont like what you see.

    European servers are straight up dead. Doubt the english servers are much better. b:bye

    The starter towns were empty two years ago also, with the exception of Etherblade because everyone goes there to duel. You're on a different server so your mileage may vary.

    Oh there is one other difference I failed to mention now. I'm the only sage BM left in the game. b:laugh
