Hello,
I was wondering about a new expansion with new races / classes... i came empty on the races (background, aspect, whatever) but i though about 2 classes that you can find below... happy reading b:victory.
Slayer
The slayer is a hunter of highest regard, he/she gained this nickname because the legends say that no mater what a Slayer was sent to kill, it eventually got killed, beast, man or god, all were vanquished by the Slayer. The Slayers are mortally bounded on using their Heavy Gloves only to throw Javelins this is because the knuckles of the Gloves have poison in them to prevent the Slayers from dishonoring the code of the Hunt.
Light Armour
Melee/Ranged DPS (ammo dependent) - physical. Uses Javelins
The main weapon would be Heavy Gloves, similar to Fists but with only one add-on the Slayer will not be able to use the gloves without Javelins.
Important Skills:
Ranged stance (a stance that allows the use of ranged attacks while consuming Javelins on each attack) Allows the use of the following skills:
Impale (throws both Javelins at the target inflicting damage and causing bleed damage)
Shadow Hit (throws two javelins in the air, the first javelin has the normal chance to be avoided but the second cannot be evaded (100% hit chance) causing the target to get stunned for a brief movement)
Ancestors Aid (a warcry that summons the Slayers ancestors to throw javelins at a target and the surrounding area causing massive amounts of damage, has a chance to stun the targets)
Minesweep (throws multiple bags of exploding powder in the front that will explode when an enemy/aggressive target enters the area, the explosion of one bag causes a chain reaction causing the whole area and any other adjacent areas with mines to explode dealing massive damage)
Melee stance (a stance that allows the use of melee attacks without consuming Javelins on attacks, requires 2 Javelins to be cast) Allows the use of the following skills:
Javelin Dance (hits a target at close range 3 times with the javelins, 1st and 2nd attack deal normal damage but the 3rd is done with both javelins and inflicts double damage)
Jump Smash (Smashes both Javelins in the ground causing all targets in a close area to receive damage and slow effect)
Sharp Whirlwind (the Slayer spins 3-6 times causing all targets close to be hit on each spin with normal damage, each successful hit causes the next hit taken to have increased damage - up to a maximum of 30% more damage (5%/successful hit), the debuff lasts only for 2 seconds - the exact interval between the spins)
Lightning Trap (the Slayer sets a lighting trap to aid him in battle, the summon is unmovable but can be attacked, it periodically deals metal damage to all targets in the area close to the Slayer)
Buffs (can be cast in both stances):
Sharpness (causes all physical damage to have a piercing effect ignoring up to 15% of the p.def of the target - short term buff, lasts 20 seconds, cd 1 min)
Mages Bane (causes all magic defense to be increased by a certain percent, lasts 10 minutes, affects target player)
Wings of Wind (increases movement speed by up to 30% to all party members for 10 minutes)
Dream Stalker
The Dream Stalker is an Illusion lord, known to steal the dreams of his enemies and turn them into their greatest nightmares. A powerful mage that takes pride not in massive magic attacks but in attacks that slow and immobilize the enemy, killing his foes while they can only painfully watch without being able to do anything.
Arcane Robes/Light Armour
Caster DPS - magic/mixed - Illusions/Damage over Time Caster uses Magical Instruments.
Important Skills:
Dream Rip (Rips a dream from an enemy transferring 5% of all the attributes of the target to the Dream Stalker for 5 seconds - the target loses 5% of all attributes, m.attack,m.def, p.attack, p.def, hp,mp movement speed, attack speed, casting speed)
Curse of the Night (inflicts basic magic attack as damage and an additional damage over time based on the users max mana)
Shadow of Nightmares (the target is paralyzed under the spell of the nightmare, being unable to cast skills and receiving damage during the duration, the damage is equal to 50% of the targets p.def plus 25% of the casters p.def, damage dealt is physical and is subject to the p.def damage reduction of the target)
Endless Dream (the target is sent to sleep for a duration of time, the targets Mp is reduced during the duration by a percent, the target will suffer damage equal to 10% of the max hp for each 15% of mp of empty mana pool at the end of effects duration)
Illusion Summon (creates a nightmarish creature to attack the target while holding it, the target cannot move while it is attacked but can attack the summoned imp and will be freed after the creature is killed or the summons duration ends)
Illusion Projection (creates an illusion copy of the target the deals 55% of the damage of the target and is immune to all damage to strike back it's original, the illusion will hit 3-5 times until it dissapears, the type of damage dealt/skills used by the illusion will vary depending on the target's class (for players) / type of attack for mobs/bosses - ex: used on a Cleric it will use Grand Cyclone, Plume Shot, Wield Thunder, Razor Feathers, Siren's Kiss (in a certain order depending on how many attacks it is allowed to cast) - the number of attacks the illusion will do depend on how much mp out of max mp the caster has)
Illusion Transformation (the caster transforms into a Nightmarish form of the target and gains 4 up to 6 skills while transformed, all stats are modified accordingly to the transformation, after the transformation runs out the caster will have to pay 25% of max HP and 35% of max MP)
Dream Wave (the caster sends an Eerie wave to the target inflicting damage equal to the base magic attack plus a certain percent and that will inflict a random magic damage over time, the targets lowest magical defense will determine the damage type (ex: the wood resistance is the lowest, the damage over time will be wood based)
Soul Pierce (the Dream Weavers only powerful magic attack, the caster sacrifices 50% of his max mp and CHi to send a piercing ray to a single target inflicting damage based on the consumed MP and CHi, the damage ignores 60% of the magic defense of the target and will be Fire Damage, all the enemies near the initial target will receive 55-65% of the damage received by the target and 45-35% of the damage over a short time)
Buffs:
Invocation (Increases max MP)
Nightmare of Bezerk (Increase damage dealt (p.attack and m.attack) but also increases the damage received - Aura Effect)
Dream of Elysium (Decreases damage dealt (p.attack and m.attack) but also reduces the damage received - Aura Effect)
(While deploying the Aura Effects the Dream Stalker can still move, all party members within a certain distance, skill lvl dependent, will receive the bonus)
I hope you enjoyed and i would really like to see these things in the game b:surrender maybe on a new expansion b:thanks

Honestly some of the skills seem to strong. Every class needs some of their skills to have some kind of draw back****0

True...but this is just an unrefined idea... i just gave some examples of skills and what i would like to see in the game. Requirements like 2 spark could be added to the skills, also some of the skills could have a debuff requirement to be cast (similar to seeker bonus damage attacks).
Glad somebody actually read this tho b:cute.
If this would have been read by many more people, i could start doing some calculations and maybe balance the skills more...but apparently this is not something that many people want to see and it probably will get lost in the Suggestion Box topics...b:cry0
