Think we should be real careful with something like this. Unfortunately there are those that try to take advantage of this in the bad way if you know what I mean. But besides that it may add something to roleplaying for the most people. b:cute0

Agreed. The game can get creepy enough at times, without having some young venomancer running around asking to call me daddy. well thats besides the point, I was rather trying to mention that some sickos would try to have these kids in bed etc. Enough sickos see children as thing, as toy for their sexual pleasure. Which is obviously VERY wrong and should NOT be allowed EVER. But this scares me the most, giving people 'children' in-game we also will get these sickos in our game. Which i preffer not to see.
There are enough sickos that see a female character and directly thinking with their 3rd leg thinking it is female in real life as well. And thus trying to get them in bed. Enough kids are online already, let them be anonymous before they get harrased aswell.
I am all open if it comes to roleplaying, but I am against a possible childporn case. So I am urging the PWI crew to NOT add-in this feature. Not just for the savety of the children, but also savety for PWI in general! Only 1 needs to sue and it's a possibility that the whole of PWI gets taken down. b:surrender0 -
Sad but true. It seems like whenever I'm on a female character, one of the main questions I get asked is "Hey, do you have Skype?" (which I do, but I only use it to talk to people I know in real life.lol). So I usually just say "No, and sorry, but I'm really a dude." Never really thought about kids playing and getting asked the same question. A frightening idea, really. Though, to be honest, I doubt that some kind of baby pet or ingame character adoption system would effect the number of pervs in the game. As far as PWI getting taken down, the Terms of Service states that "You hereby represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement" and "By creating an Account or otherwise using the Service, you represent that you are at least age 18 and agree to these Terms, or that you are over 13 years of age and your parents or legal guardian have read and agreed to these Terms, and you understand and agree that we are relying upon that representation in allowing you to use the Service". In other words, it's up to the parents to monitor their own kids on the net and game(as it should be), and PWI is safe from the type of lawsuits you describe. So, atleast no worries on that end.

unfortunately a lot of parents are not smart enough to take care of their children by letting them freely on the internet. There is no way they see everything their kids do. Meaning they are always at risk of having some perv abusing their child and having their child do things that are not allowed. Such as come on any game they see, because they can. there is no way for any developer to keep children out that have no permission to get on. Parents should sit next to their child during them being online, if not, no internet. That simple. Easiest way to keep them save and you see everything they are doing.
For the pervs in the game, well they just mess things up for everyone else. If they did not, it would be save to add this idea which on it's own is pretty good. But RP-ing is often messed up by those that like to abuse things. There are not many that actually read the ToS at all, so not many actually know what they can do and what not. Brazilians, Portugese and Spanish people often the ones messing thing sup in this game. Simply because they don't read the ToS or any messages what so ever. Mainly because they don't take the time to get a translator website in to understand the game and rules better. (for a change it is not the Russians nor the Koreans that mess it up b:chuckle )

I agree with alot of what you're saying, though. It's a scary world these days. Spend five minutes on Youtube searching vlogs, and you'll see kids with webcams in their bedrooms posting videos on a public site. Sure, some of them might be responsible enough to know what to do, and not to do, but I shudder to think about the majority who aren't, and the last thing we need is a thousand new "Jessi Slaughter" types running around the net(Youtubers know who I mean.lol). Games like PWI are the least of their problems.
However, my personal opinion on the game's content, selfish as it may be, is that I'm also an immature adult male "geek", who plays online games, collects X-Men action figures, and has no wife or kids to worry about. So if PWI wanted to raise the maturity level of the game, by allowing stronger language, nudity, blood, violence, and so on, I'd be entirely supportive of that too. There comes a point when the cries of "Think of the children!" have to be met with "Let the little brats find a different game, this one is ours!". lol0 -

I sure would love to raise the gore A.K.A. blood, nudity, language and voilence. For the western world it is a big plus to have such things, it sells big time. But besides that, it adds more realism to the game as well. Ever seen someone being hammered on the head thank the attacker or idly standing there? I sure havn't! hihi

Also, I wouldn't have guessed that you have autism from your posts, as they are very well written, aside from a few minor spelling errors one would expect from a forum conversation, which we all make from time to time. The few people I've known with autism would have had problems expressing themselves as well as you have.
And you're right. I love my country, but we can be stupid at times. This is a place where the FDA puts medication on the market that hasn't been properly tested for long term effects, and then has multi-million dollar lawsuits after people start dying from it. Where a little old lady orders hot coffee in a drive-through, spills it on herself, and sues the fast-food chain because the coffee was too hot (No joke, Mc D. legally had to print a warning on their coffee cups after that.lol). Where police will keep one drug dealer on the street, so they can arrest fifty of his buyers, just to boost their own arrest numbers. It's a highly flawed system, with no sign of getting fixed any time soon.
As far as being ashamed of being a "geek", I'm proud of it. I have fun, and enjoy my life alot more than most of my so called "mature" or "normal" friends. I'm 34, and playing videogames when alot of people my age are just sitting in the local bar, drinking themselves to death, and complaining about what went wrong in their lives. I'd say we're the lucky ones, because we can still remember how to have fun.

Well I am from The Netherlands, learned English by watching TV, gaming and the internet. SoI know I have some spelling errors indeed. Strangly enough I know my English better then some people that have it as their native language! =P
My autism is Aspergers Syndrome + ADHD, so yeah.. Deffo have something there. But I don't see any excuse to try my best in communicating. It's for me already as bad as it gets, so why not try to improve it?

But I still have police harrasing me telling me lies just to get at me. Hell, they even tried to arrest me for walking in the middle of nowhere after midnight! There is no martial-law here! So get away from me! lol
