PW Housing Update

I wonder why the powers that be have never decided to add the housing update to the free to play versions of PW. I see people buying housing items like crazy in other games. I imagine it would make quite a bit of money if they added it here and put lots of housing items in the boutique. They could even expand on it and allow people to buy things to customize their guild bases.

    Some other games I've played had housing systems... but in ways I didn't like. Such as, time limited items in your house (although they would always grant buffs to you).

    But yea I see what your getting at. I probably would get tied up in the housing system myself, too. As long as it wasn't time limited stuff like other games, anyways. Lol. But I don't think we will EVER see it in this version.

    lol 1000% would get involved if they did this. On another game I spent probably over 3Billion coins just on my housing area lol. 3Billion would buy endgame gears and such but i didn't bother with the gear I loved housing.

    I already know several people in game that would definitely charge if Housing System was introduced. XD I'm pretty sure PWI would find a way to mess it up [ Like make it hella expensive ].

    If it wasn't CS focused, I'm sure it would be a very cool element of the game. I'd definitely take part in it if I could, even if it were a coin sink. One place of lot in the beautiful Morai's Celestial Lake, please. b:chuckle

    A housing system would be nice but it would probably cost so much only the CSers among us could afford it... Besides... That housing system is so extensive... I don't think it really do well in a F2P MMORPG... I am however all for small tents or chambers however... Our characters need to sleep somewhere right? Or maybe PWI could add some stuff they made with the housing system like cafe's and inn's and other stuff like that like a ballroom for events... Just a suggestion though... b:cute

    I think a gm(would need cit) said that the housing system would never be implemented here, but not sure tho. I cant find the post. It could have been a player that said it as well.

    That is correct. The housing system requires more hardware servers to run, which costs PWI money ect, ect...

    With the P2P version it's a monthly fee for the housing. Implementing a monthly fee in a F2P game is not only stupid, it's a considerable PITA to deal with and manage.

    We will never see it.

    I read It long time ago, that the house systen only is avaible on the first version of the game, currently we are playing the seccound version, they may look the same, but they are two different games.

    They should make housing sys like LOTRO (Lord of the Rings Online) made. For what I have seen, it's the the best housing ever. Many decoration variations and other really cool stuff. It would be awesome if PW would have something like that.

    Leave the game as free to play but make it so if you purchase a memebership(monthly fee?) you get these types of perks.

    I really wonder if it's money, being understaffed, unable to make these type of changes to the game, or just plain lazy, when it comes to stuff like this. Obviously there is a demand for, obviously people are willing to pay for it.

    unfortunately it will NOT be added to PWI, no matter how much we want that. It's rather dumb to even leave it out though. Find it rather offensive as well not giving us what we want. b:angry

    Its also obviously that the higher management of pwe fails on many levels. The only marketing strategy they can think about is: min. investment, max. profit. They go the typical anglo saxon way: they dont care about reputation and never heard about the loyalty business model. They milk the cow as long as they can, then they destroy their own company, kick their employees and customers and run away with the profit. Must be fun to know this and be an employee in a company like this. Id be not very motivated too...
