Seriously. It takes me the better part of an entire day just to find a squad. If i'm lucky. Granted, I'm almost at the level where I won't need to do it anymore, but every time a BH89 pops up, I feel like I should just trash it because it's so damn near impossible to find a squad.
It's true for BH79 too, but to a lesser extent...I'm so sick of having to buy the wines myself and spend an hour soloing the instance just to get my BH quests done.

They're in FF getting better exp with squads per time invested.

Haven't you heard, PW wants you to pay to hyper in FC while also using Zen to get gold to pay for FC squads.
FC is not all it is cracked up to be, considering that you either have to pay millions of credits for a squad, or wait as long or longer for a 'do it your self squad'.
Playing PW at your current level (i.e. 90ish) means keeping your eyes glued to WC and hoping your don't fall alseep from boredom before a FC or BH LFM pops up. Either that or swipe that credit card.
Really snarky and snobby trolls will attack you and deride you for not having enough friends to run your BH whenever you want.
The Descent expansion effectively removed half your prospective teammates since most 95+s are now doing Moria stuff.
PW's message to you is pay to get to 95 or GTFO.

I never had a problem getting any BH. I just buy the wines and WC, and get plenty of people to do it. I have seen players WC for winer's so they can do a bh(to lazy to get wines i guess). Maybe it is just your server, do you WC for members after getting wine? Making wine is not expensive and is usualy some is gotten back with the drops. TBH the price of wine should not even be an issue even at your level that is only 5-10mins of grinding.Marine - Marshall - Raging Tides - Retired

Seems to be quite the opposite on Sanc lately. BHs exist and are run if theyre high enough level but FCC is hard to find. Well, you can buy FCC rooms up to 99 but finding a group running it is hard.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

Lately i stack mine to at least two before wining it myself with factions help or
WC'inng for a squad, there isnt much of a point to do these and its a waste of wine
with token prices high
in a good faction how ever ( like mine ) we go in fun groups and split the some times very good loot
one of our BM's got a hat that almost blows away a Warsoul of earth with 3 sockets and nice

BH 89 is pretty hard to find a squad for. Never had a problem getting a 79 squad though.0

If I could make 250k in 5-10 minutes of grinding, I wouldn't complain. I'm lucky if I get 100k in an hour of grinding. Even TT mats don't sell as well as they used to.
I mean yeah, I could probably solo Brimstone, but that just means I have to buy wines for BH89, and then BH79. I don't particularly enjoy spending 500k a day on wines, especially when the bosses drop little more than a handful of coins.0 -

Not putting you down or anything, but i bring in 100-300k just doing the 2 dailies in the new map and that takes less 30mins even on my 97 barb. Do you just skip all the potions and stuff that drop? I NPC everything.
Alot of people seem not to do good on random drops in maps others do well. I seem to do inbetween. Your a veno right? There has to be somewhere for you to grind on and get decient drops, try the snowmen that is east-north east of snowy village. I do pretty good on those, even at 101. I know being a high dps sin I can kill a lot quicker, but find a good spot they are there. As boring as it is gathering mats/herbs in heaven/hell is profitable. I even paid for my reps for R8 with just that in a couple weeks. Dont get down stay upbeat you will find your farming area.

Used to have that problem with getting the FB79 and 89 squads on this toon before, and to a point I still am on my cleric and sin (when i bother to play them that is)
I basically just gave up on the bh's unless someone in my faction needs em. If thats the case then Ill do em but other then that, they just sit. Clerics nearly not gonna need em anymore, but yeah on the sin(and whatever other lower lvl toon I have) I doubt Ill bother with them anymore. The costs of waiting for someone to join a squad, the wine, and then hearing the squad members whine if you dont have a seeker, bm, barb...yadda yadda, just isnt worth it imo.0 -
The real issue is that most people are unwilling to start a squad, I see 3 or 4 people asking for the same BH all the time at headhunter, even tanks/clerics at the same time, but no one will start the damn squad. I understand not wanting to start frost squads, but most BH's are doable without every piece of the puzzle.0

People don't want to buy wines. Or go through the trouble of finding members.
If you start a squad, you're responsible for that.

im level 83, and have it has my BH so often. but like you, its nearly impossible to get a squad to do it. if i do find one, they want to you teleport back and forth to Archo between bosses, pay for wines and so on. how am i supposed to pay for all that, plus level pets, skills, gear,etc?
when the game started, people were eager to get into squads, both for the exp and for the rep you would earn. now that rep can be bought, no one cares about that. and with the various ways to get exp boosted, no one wants to clear out dungeons the old fashioned way...by killing all the mobs. its totally no fun to run through an instance that is empty, going straight to the boss. the fun of the game was to use your skills, to see how many you could drop at a time (my son and i compete on this-hes a barb, and rounds up mobs, and then he tries to nail them all before i hit them with one of my AOEs! ^_^). nowadays, people just want to rush through instances....why? arent we here to have fun? people tell me 'i dont have time to do it the old way'....then why are they here, if they dont have time to play?
its very sad, and very depressing. it used to be that factions existed for the purpose of helping each other when squads were needed by members. i remember factions i've been in, in the past, that had specific days for doing the different level dungeons and things, and one day where we got together and went around the map, killing off world bosses....oh, those were so much fun! now, i never even see one boss anywhere. the game is not what it once was, now its lonely. i have to do the best i can, going out to high level areas to kill mobs...its the best i can do, without help.

Anyway, with today's BH being brimstone, I gave up trying to find a squad and decided to try soloing it. Needless to say, I failed. After a hasty WC asking for people (mentioning that it was already wined and cleared up to the boss) I managed to get 2 people.

As someone your level, I don't really find the problem which you speak of. I am nearly always able to find a squad for most of the Bh's which I have. The only one I really avoid is Brim, as most of the squishies in my squad die when the lure to many rangers and blame me. >.>0

I do BH79 on my 9x characters. But I don't really see much point in doing 89 on them. Someone always wants the good drops, if there are any, it can take hours to find an 89, and in general, people (at least on sanct) just don't seem to want to do it. I generally don't have any issues finding a 79 squad, even one with free wine. I can usually grab one of those a day, if not more.
FCC on sanct is getting ridiculous. I spent almost 5 hours today looking for a 90-99 squad, even attempted to form one, and got a whopping 1 reply, and it was just a ****ing nub asking how much I was selling ti for. >____>101 Sage Sin*/Archer

Do you have a Herc? On my veno, with very average gears I could solo brim and eden under level 95. It took ages but, and I really only did it to experiment, but at your level it should be doable and I found that the drops would cover the cost of wine.0 -

Whenever I see that nonsense, I just tell them okay we all wnat to do this at the same time. So let's just decide on how we want to do wines, and i'll keep recruiting. I mean, most of the time they are just standing around neway. Not that hard to add LFM BHXX every so often. Also, FC is definitely doable without "every piece of the puzzle." FC is usually cheaper to put a squad together, actually. Cuz so many ppl hang around FC the way they used to hang around BH.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I laugh at anyone who BUYS an FF/FC run after 79. Honestly there are plenty of squads doing it and there is nothing stopping you from making your own either. Except maybe telecoustics or having no friends. b:chuckle0 -

Yes, I do. The problem with ethereal abomination is: he has random aggro. And when he decides he wants a piece of me, he kills me in 2 hits.
I could handle him just fine if not for that...and before you say anything...Bash is not enough to take aggro back before he offs me.

She tells the truth. On Sanc, the WC for FCCs are about 90% sale, 10% FCC squads. Less you're in a good, active guild, the chances of you finding a random squad that's just doing FCC is really low on that server. Its annoying to have to deal with honestly. Good thing I have sin friends that don't mind just running through with me for my alts, but not everyone is like that.
P.S: Those numbers are pulled out of my ***, but you get the general statement. Don't argue the math with me. xD0 -
i think it mostly depends on what time(s) you are active. I found that most people on DW tend to do their BH runs at 0:00 EST (read as 'time for bh to reset'). If you're looking for bh squads at other times during the day, its highly likely that no one's going to answer because it has already been done. Im pretty sure though that if you ask the people on your friends list often enough that they will be glad to help you out on your BH. Afterall... thats what friends are for right?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
